I love Dr Baass. She is such a great doctor. She will always go above and beyond for us. Wouldn't want another Doc.

Our family was with Dr. Andrade who was great. Dr. Baass seems to be shy and awkward in any conversation until you get to know her a bit better. She can be dismissive but if you are persistent she will refer you to a specialist. You really need to be armed with some knowledge and push to get better treatment. Often uses the phrase "at your age....".

Said my issues were just my age (38), turned out to be hypothyroidism. Ended up having a miscarriage at 11 weeks and was told later by a specialist it was very likely due to my TSH shooting up and Dr Baass not treating it. She finally started me on thyroid meds but when I had a serious side effect (suicidal ideations), she brushed it off. I decided I would rather not have a Dr than see her anymore, so I quit her practice and just went to walk ins for a couple of years. She is cold and arrogant and has very outdated medical knowledge.

The staff are rude, unhelpful and downright unpleasant. I book for the first appointment after lunch so I can "guarantee" that I will not be delayed etc. and am still never seen on time!! Dr. Baass herself has come around wrt her bedside manner a bit which is an improvement. If only her staff had any redeeming qualities would I make time to see her regularly.

Reading through the reviews makes me feel sad for Dr. Baass. This is a doctor who is helpful, knowledgeable and pays attention. My family has needed her assistance with some really difficult and emotional problems and shes always shown a deep concern and compassion when working with us. Is her bedside manner sometimes brusk, yes, every now and again. Does she occasionally sound a bit irritable... sure...thats called being human! We all have tougher days! However, even on those days, this is a doctor who cares about her patients. Maybe some of those complaining about her need to also show a little more understanding and compassion in their assessments of her.

Dr. Baass is a very friendly, knowledgeable doctor. She is not my family doctor but I am fortunate enough to be able to see her when my doctor is not in the office, which is fairly frequent. She is so easy to talk to and she really does care. I like that she doesn't go for the prescription pad right away. Overall she is fantastic and I really wish she was my GP.

I found her very cold when I first met her. After a couple of visits she became more vibrant in personality. I had her come in to see me after what must have been devastating news to the family before, and as much as she tried to cover it up, I seen that this lady cares for her patients. She has the phd, but behind those letters still stands a real person. Sometimes detaching yourself, and getting to the illness, symptoms, problem at hand is how she copes. But she's efficient, accurate and strong willed. She's a great Dr.

In my opinion, it was hard to rate the knowledge when this doctor is cold, and uncompassionate. You are not in there long enough to know if she is knowledgable, and she just doesn't care. This women should never have been a doctor. I worry for the patients who are vulernable, and believe they have to stay there. From my experience with this doctor, I feel all the lower ratings are the accurate depiction of this doctor. One of the best things I've done in my life is leave this doctor, for a doctor who is professional, knowledgable and truly cares for her patients.
