In my opinion, it was hard to rate the knowledge when this doctor is cold, and uncompassionate. You are not in there long enough to know if she is knowledgable, and she just doesn't care. This women should never have been a doctor. I worry for the patients who are vulernable, and believe they have to stay there. From my experience with this doctor, I feel all the lower ratings are the accurate depiction of this doctor. One of the best things I've done in my life is leave this doctor, for a doctor who is professional, knowledgable and truly cares for her patients.

This Dr helped to facilitate an opioid addiction and when it got out of control rather then help to nip the issue or come up with a strategy for pain management she instead wiped her hands clean and dropped the patient all together. This is a person who has stated in front of others that she does not enjoy being a dr. She should not be a dr. She's barely human and certainly free of any sort of empathy. This woman clearly does not care about her patients and through this action has clearly stated tonahoq only concern for herself.

Dr. Baass was quiet when I first started seeing her. However, once that "new" unfamiliar stage wore off, she became more communicative ...explaining things in great detail. She has been open to my own suggestions, and supportive. She wants people to participate in their own health care...take charge. ..make an effort to lose weight...stop smoking...do the things that are needed. You can't go there and ask for a pill for a cure...many times the solution is with the patient, and more often than not, patients can't be bothered. She enjoys helping people who are motivated to follow her instructions and participate in getting well. Dr. Baass cares for my elder parents as well as my own family, and she is patient and caring with them. I am dissapointed to read comments about her that centre only on her being 'quiet' and conclude therefore that she must not be nice, or must not care...nothing is further from the truth.

Dr. Baass is the only doctor that has been able to help my daughter. She is professional, on time, knowledgable and explains things in detail so you know what is happening and what to expect. Thank you Dr. Baass for caring so much about your patients !!!

She does not have a great bed side manner and always made me feel uncomfortable. I felt like she didn't care to listen and rushes too much. Of course she knows what she is doing and so do the staff but they seem to forget that people who are not educated in the medical field use different terms and it's offensive to make someone feel uncomfortable when they are talking about very personal issues and may not know the best way to go about it. Great doctors make you feel understood and accepted...being open-minded is key or else it could potentially cause unnecessary suffering to someone's health.

I love Dr Baass , she is such a caring and knowledgeable Doctor . I have several illnesses and she is always on top of the blood work , medications everything . She might not be friendly and has no bedside manners but to me she has saved my life . If Dr Baass doesn't know or is not sure about a diagnosis she will consult or refer you to a specialist . She does listen to you and will be very careful about prescribing medications like opiods and narcotics . I'm glad I have Dr Baass as my Doctor I feel very lucky to have a very kind and knowledgeable Doctor .

Dr. Baas doesn't have a great bed side manner, she is very cold and abrasive. I do find that she rushes you very much and when you are talking to her she doesn't look you in the eye. However there are one or two visits where she has smiled and being somewhat pleasant.
