Dr. Debra Van Aggelen has been my doctor for sixteen years and I owe my life to her. She is extraordinary in her ability to diagnose a problem and pick the specialist to address it. In the effort to return me to good health Dr. Van Aggelen used the resources of the National Health system to help me recover from a very serious medical problem one that a lessor physician would have relegated to a lifetime of suffering. I'm very thankful for being her patient.

Really rude and not useful and does not listen. I wanted a prescription renewal for mental health medication as my old doctor's clinic complete closed last month. She refused to help and just kept telling me I need to go to my normal doctor. I explained AGAIN that my doctor clinic shutdown so I can't go there any more. She replied that she can't help me as I needed to go to my regular doctor and lied about non-existent rules/laws that prevent her helping me. I replied... I no longer have a regular doctor, because the clinic closed it's doors last month, so what do I do???... her reply: go see your regular doctor!!! Was like talking to a badly programmed chatbot!!

I could understand if she wanted to see me in-person to do and assessment before any prescription, but she obviously did not want to do this and just wanted me to leave her alone and stop annoying her.

It really makes me sad when someone who is paid to help you does the exact opposite.

Have tried many times to reach out for help as she is my GP. If you need someone to work with you and provide medical support go elsewhere. You will not get it here.

Been with Debra Van Aggelen for 20 years. She has always been an attentive and caring practitioner and an excellent referalist.

Do not go to her for mental health. She will make your mental health even worse. She makes assumptions, especially if you're BIPOC, does not listen, and will tell you to go to a walk-in mental health assessment clinic even though you tell her you are safe and would like a referral to a psychiatrist because of pre-existing conditions and that you can wait. She’s didn’t even give me an address or phone but told me to look up the place! If I was truly in need of urgent help, this would infinity have made this worse. She will make you feel that you are not worth it when you're already feeling down and wanting a mental health referral. I can see why people would resort to suicide when they try and ask for help with physicians like her. Shame on you. This is why our mental health care system needs an overhaul.

Dr Van Aggelen has been my doctor for over 25 years. She is absolutely wonderful. I just can't say enough about her and have recommended her to many friends who also love her.
One of the best examples I can give of her going above and beyond the call of duty was when my daughter was in high school and was being bullied and suffering from anxiety she spent a lot of time talking to her. She actually called the school principal. She is amazing with children and teens and has also won my husband over as his Doc just retired.

She is caring and really listens.. when I see her she always ever addresses the problem or sends me to a specialist. When I see her I feel so comfortable, she feels like a friend as well as my doctor..

Dr. Van Aggelen is a very good doctor. She listens and uses her best judgment based on years of practice. If the patient listens carefully she will hear the good advice this doctor has to offer. When necessary, she is quick to arrange for a visit to a specialist, and the top specialists seem to hold her in high esteem. Sometimes I feel better just for having heard her calm advice. My husband doesn't always listen to my advice but he will always listen to Dr. Van Aggelen!

I hesitate to even call this woman a dr. She was rude, argumentative and unwilling to listen to anything my sister and I had to say when I brought my sister in for her visit with this woman. I am a retired RN and it was horrific to think this woman chose medicine as her profession. She had no time for my 76 year old sister who had a few questions and came into this visit thinking this woman would be her dr! I breathed a sigh of relief when she said she wasn’t taking new clients. Who would want to be her client? She was dismissive, condescending and clearly needs to choose another profession. The clinic was also dos,is so easy. I asked the front desk staff about my sister seeing a nurse practitioner and they gave us a medical history form to complete. When my sister handed it in they made an appoint,ent for her to see a np. Then they called her back and said she couldn’t see a np because of an existing medical condition. The would not let her speak to the NP to find out why. I have been seeing nurse practitioners for years and have never heard this before. In conclusion, I would NOT recommendEither the clinic and especially this dr to anyone. She has the bedside manner of a gnat.
