Dr. Stattford was my dr for years. Until one visit I accidentally picked up my sweater catching her stethoscope in it. I did not know this has I didn't put my sweater on. Once I got home I got a call from dr. I checked I had it so I returned it via courier and she said she can no longer be my dr. Talking about accusing someone. Thanks for looking out for my health. Not.

I have had very different experiences with Dr. Stafford - for my colonoscopy she was fantastic and did a good job at comforting me during an uncomfortable situation. However, my office appointments with her left me feeling distressed and less hopeful than when I went in. She had an awful "bedside manner"/very condescending, did not make any suggestions to try for my GI problems either at the outset or when nothing was found with my colonoscopy - after telling me they didn't find anything she just said "okay?" and waited for me to leave - when I told her, no, it's actually not okay I've been living with constant pain for years/waiting for months to see you can't you give me some ideas of what to try/who to go to then? She had nothing to suggest - just let me leave her office in same state of constant pain I'd been in months before when I first saw her. She made me feel like I was a bother to her and did not take my medical issues seriously at all. I left feeling more hopeless than ever

Dr. Stafford is kind, thorough, helpful, and a professional. I literally trust my life with her as I must have a colonoscopy annually. She calls me every year with the results. I have referred friends to her and they feel the same way as I do. She is a caring and expert professional.Judy Chapman

Dr. Stafford is arrogant and has a horrible bedside manner! She doesn't seem to have any compassion or understanding of what it's actually like to have Crohn's! She seemed annoyed at having to answer questions and didn't really give me any useful information. I prefer younger Doctors who are still passionate about what they do and actually care and want to help their patients!

My experiences with Dr. Stafford have been hit and miss. She is, for the most part, quite caring and knowledgeable but has been rather impatient and not all that proactive when it comes to maintaining/improving my health. She was quite kind when I had my colonoscopies but didn't do tests that another GI told me were necessary to have diagnosed my Crohns Disease. Whether that's true to not remains to be seen...

Dr. Stafford has been my gastroenterologist for many years and now other family members see her as well. She is knowledgable, thorough and personable. She connects with the person as well as the patient. I feel lucky to have her.

I've had two colonoscopies performed by Doctor Stafford and I was very disappointed in how much poorer my treatment was the second time around. I was the only patient in the waiting room at the time of my pre and post op appointments but I still waited and she still seemed impatient and reticent to answer questions regarding what might be causing my symptoms or why my supplements seem to be having an effect. I wasn't in her office for more than five minutes but she seemed very anxious to be rid of me...Also, I was given an 8:00am call time for pre op even though I wasn't scheduled till 11:30...?

Dr Stafford is compassionate & an expert, - I found the initial consult to be timely, she was working with a med student and was very patient and took time with the student and me to ensure we both had the learning & knowledge needed to understand all the procedure options & side effects. During the colonoscopy Dr. Stafford spent time expaining, she was cheerful and caring & efficient when in the operating room the team moved quickly, explaining every step along the way including what I would expect to feel in the nano second before I fell asleep. When I awoke from the procedure I was groggy but without pain and everything unfolded exactly as they explained it would. The 4 litre drink the day before was not too bad, I keep it cold and sucked ice chips in between, also gave myself lots of time through the afternoon to drink it, and kept myself busy in between drinks & trips to the bathroom-with the right frame of mind this is an easy process. Priority is given to on-time patients.
