I don’t often write reviews — however considering the fact that it involves a pediatrician, I find myself compelled to do so. Dr. Staiman has The WORST bedside manner that I’ve ever encountered with a physician. He is physically aggressive with the children and verbally aggressive with the parents! My child was examined by Dr. Staiman — in which he held my child down forcefully for an ear exam. The tool that he used—came out of my child’s ear bloody! My poor child was screaming and crying —and not once did Dr. Staiman stop to calm him down — instead, he instructed his nurse to hold him tighter. I had to intervene, I had to stop the doctor, because it was evident that my child could not take the pain or fear any longer! When asking Dr. Staiman a question about my child’s health — he snapped at me — making me feel as though I were wrong for being a concerned parent. Since this horrific doctor’s visit, my child has been traumatized by any doctor that he sees! No child should feel uncomfortable when visiting their pediatrician and no parent should EVER feel uncomfortable to ask any questions about the well-being of their child. I strongly suggest that you— DO NOT —bring your child to see Dr. Staiman.
