Dr Allan Tan unprofessional doctor and very disrespectful manner of aggressive behaviour verbal abuse and so on.
I went there due to having a lot pain and he walked out on me and refused services.
I have contacted the minister of health department to file a report so they could take action against him.
While in pain without getting help after waiting for two hours in line. And service has been declined to serve the public.
This is rasho profiling at this location.

He doesn’t care about his patients obviously. He talks so fast and doesn’t explain very well. Very unprofessional.

DR. ALLAN TAN MAY BE THE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF MEETING. I SAW HIM 2 WEEKS AGO. RUDE TO THE POINT OF OBNOXIOUS. THICK ACCENT MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND HIM. BRUSHED OFF A POTENTIALLY LIFE THREATENING CONDITION. HE MADE UP FALSE EXCUSES IN ORDER TO AVOID PROVIDING ANY TREATMENT. HOPED I WOULD GO TO ANOTHER WALK IN CLINIC TOMORROW SO HE COULD SUBMIT A BILLING BUT HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY AND PROVIDE NO SERVICE.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR: GO TO ANOTHER CLINIC IF YOU FIND OUT HE IS WORKING THAT DAY.

I spoke with Dr. Tan over the phone a few times. He talks so fast and he won’t give the patient time to explainable symptoms. He is extremely impatient, he dismissed the patient concerns and cut off while the patient is explaining to him the symptoms all the time. He is really unprofessional, insulting the patient and hang off on the patient. Unbelievable!

I spoke on the phone with Dr. Allan Tan from MCI Doctor's office today, and I was crying after the 5-minute appointment.

He spoke really fast, spoke over me when I tried to explain my symptoms.
I asked if I should go to emergency cause I'm in so much pain for a week now and I can’t sleep from the pain, he said no, to wait for the lab results in 2-3 days.

I asked if I could get a referral to see a specialist because this has been for 2 months now.
He said and I quote “this is not South America where you can get an appointment for a specialist whenever u want okay?”
I said I don’t mind waiting, I just really want to see one.

And he said no, we don’t do things like that in here okay? This is Canada, ok?
And he immediately said ok bye now and hanged up on me.

I burst out in tears after the call!
I do have an accent but who cares!, nobody in any field of work should be treating others that way.

He is a horrible doctor, I do NOT recommend anybody to see him and he should NOT be allowed to work in a field where he is responsible for the care of others.

I feel denigrated, still not sure what to do about my pain and symptoms.
I will NOT be going to this clinic anymore, and i will tell everybody I know to avoid it.

Dr Tan, can be a little short, but he is a decent and competent human being & doctor. You have to be straight to the point and articulate yourself well, ensure he knows what you’re talking about and confirm what he is telling you. But overall I feel absolutely confident seeing him & taking family to see him. Staff are great today too!

I've seen Dr. Tan a number of times and he's always been down-to-earth and kind, and answered my questions in a straightforward professional manner. He's my preferred doctor to see at this clinic.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Tan. He called me crazy, asked if I was stupid, and dismissed my concerns following a snowboarding accident. I have been limping for 10 days with what I think may be a sprain or fracture, and he repeatedly told me to take Advil or Tylenol. I asked for diagnostic imaging, and he rolled his eyes dramatically while telling me that's stupid, just take anti inflammatory and go to physio. I explained that I'd like to know exactly what is causing the pain I've been experiencing for 10 days, and would like either x-rays, ultra sound, or MRI. At the suggestion of MRI he laughed in my face and called me crazy for thinking I could just get an MRI.
I'd like to say maybe he's a good doctor with just bad people skills, but I don't even believe he is a good doctor given his dismissal of my concerns, not even looking at (or touching) my injured leg, and his recommendation of anti-inflammatory meds instead of diagnostic imaging or any other investigative measures to determine the cause of my pain and potential treatments.
I DO NOT recommend this doctor to anyone, and would like to see him removed from this clinic.

First, this clinic in general is terrible. I went in the other day around 4:15 PM (they were supposed to be open until 5 PM), and was told they weren't taking anymore patients. I then asked if I could make an appointment and was told they don't do that. Yet, when I showed up a couple of days later... I was asked by they receptionist if I had an appointment. And multiple other people showed up who had appointments. Seriously?? I'd say I can't believe she flat out lied to me... BUT in my experience... customer service in Canada is absolutely horrendous.

The wait was very long... an hour and a half. It seems like they are very unorganized and don't manage their time well to keep things moving smoothly/quickly.

I've only been to this clinic once before, several years ago, so I don't know any of the doctor's there. I ended up seeing Dr. Tan. His personality was very off putting from the moment he walked in the door. He was not friendly at all, and had terrible bedside manner. I could barely understand him because he was mumbling and talking in almost a whisper. I needed a referral, and he didn't give me any problems about it or yell at me (like others have mentioned) thankfully. But I just didn't care for his "cold" attitude. I said, "have a nice day" as I was leaving and he just mumbled something that sounded like "yeah" in response. I try to be understanding of others because maybe he has a lot of personal issues in his life currently. But it's best to leave that at the door when going to work. All that said, after reading the reviews here... it seems this has been an ongoing issue with him for years and not just an isolated incident. I would highly recommend asking for another doctor at this location or just avoiding this clinic altogether if you can.
