Dr. Stoke and her receptionist are careless. They have no sense of urgency in responding to their patients and the receptionist doesn't even know the doctor's daily schedule. She couldn't tell me whether the doctor was going to be in the office that day or not. I found that VERY odd and unprofessional. I asked when I could expect to hear back from the Doctor regarding my results, the receptionist responded with an attitude and told me whenever the Doctor is in the office next. What type of medical practice is this?! I would avoid going to this Doctor. She may be able to get you in for an appointment right away, but after that initial appointment, don't plan on hearing from her for weeks. In my opinion, someone that has so much availability anyways is probably not a good doctor to begin with.

Dr. Stoke is extremely knowledgeable and really listens to her patients. Her staff has always
been helpful, too. Sometimes there is a long wait in the waiting room, but she is worth it!

She was running 2 1/2 hrs behind schedule and no one called me. I sat there all that time. She told me to have blood work and call her on a certain date if I didnt hear from her. Well I have been leaving messages with her receptionsit Colleen for a week now and no phone call back. It would be nice to know what my blood work came back showing. So my next step is I am filing a complaint with NYS about her. She may be the best Doctor out there for Lymes but she is not professional at all nor is her receptionist. I think it is very unprofessional not to get back to a patient regarding blood work they have had done. Its very uncomforting not knowing what my results are. My blood work was on June 18 2012 and here it is July 24 2012 and still nothing from her.

Dr. Stokes was a no-show to my appointment and made it very difficult to reschedule. She obviously doesn't care about her practice or patients, and I will be surprised her practice survives another year. I don't true her and neither should you.

Dr. Stokes was a good overall doctor but her receptionist Ellen was very nasty and unprofessional in the wayn she spolke to me and I was polite so if she gives yiou a problem be sure and tell the doctor. There is no reason for patients to be treated like this by the help or anyone else period. Some people need a reality check desperately amd I think it's best for everyone if we the patients make their behavior known to the Doctors who rely upon the business that these types repell.

She was able to quickly diagnose my Lyme disease and treated it very aggressively. She is a great doctor and I strongly recommend that if you have any suspicion of a tick borne disease that you immediately book an appointment to see her.

Her personalty may be a little gruff, but she knows her stuff and is willing to listen. If you have a tick borne illness, I would highly recommend her, since she is willing to treat you fairly agressively rather than send you off with the standard 30 days of Doxycycline. She been understaffed, and in a moving transition, but now is in a brand new office at St Francis.

She was an hour late, and when I finally did meet with her she rushed the appointment and made me feel like I was taking up her precious time. She did not know for sure my diagnosis, and when I requested the test be done she told me that it would be a "pain" for her to do, but that if no one else was helping me she would do it. Also, on our second meeting, she asked me "So, do you think you have PARTICULAR ILLNESS?" She was wondering if I looked up on my own what she thought I had, and asked me. I am not the doctor, she is. I would not recommend this doctor. In addition, the office building was old and dirty, and it didn't look like they were even fully moved in.
