Dr Jones performed a laminectomy on my wife four weeks ago for spinal stenosis. She is pain free for the first time in a couple of years. She stayed in the hospital one night, was off pain pills within a couple of days and walking. He just gave her a clean bill of health to start exercising again. My wife is happy again and that's good! :)

dr. jones did 2 surgeries on me. 1 in 98 for prolapse disc with excellent results. the other in 2001 was major fusion of L4 and L5 in my spine. explained every thing I wanted to know about and what to expect straight up no sugar coating. he even gave me his cell # if I had questions prior to surgery at eamc.hospitalized 1wk. and took several months of recovery. I was going to bham for diagnosis when jones was recommended to me by a neurologist. yes he is short on sweet bedside manners to some but then again do you want a good surgeon or a sweet talking doctor.if you want to doctor shop do not expect to be cared for by jones.he expects your loyalty as much as you expect his!

did my moms surgery in 2007 and was successful but something happened in Dec 2009. After 4 visits, each visit my mom told him of greater pain. He never would do anything. We took her to er in Montgomery for help because she was in great pain and was starting to shake all over.An mri that told the new problem-even after that he offered no help. He was aware that my mom had fallen several times and never tried to get to the bottom of it. Substandard care.

This doctor is the worst doctor I have ever been to, and I have been to several. He was not helpful at all and had no suggestions for what to do about my fractured ankle and had a very laisse faire attitude about me care in general. He is rude and unwilling to coordinate with the other doctors involved in my care and basically refused to do anything else to help me once he found out about the other doctors. I would rather die in a ditch that see this doctor again.
