Dr. Blythe is originally from Alexander City, Ala. He is married to Meredith Strickland Blythe, DNP, who is a nurse practitioner at East Alabama Ear, Nose and Throat. They have four children. Dr. Blythe is a dog lover who enjoys hunting, fishing, farm work, and spending time at Lake Martin in his spare time.

I'm done and will never darken the doors to see Dr William Blythe again. I waited one and half hours in the lobby the last visit and then he was the rudest doctor that I have ever talked with. He acted like I should have known what was wrong with me before I came to in to his office. He asked me questions like who told you and how do you know several times. Umm, I believe that's why I'm here to find out from you. He was so unprofessional and I felt like an idiot for even using him in the first place. I spent out of pocket well over $1500.00 and still have the problem that I originally went in for. Just find someone else if at all possible if you need a ear nose and throat specialist please. By the way his wife Meredith was quite the opposite but I still will never use them again.
