I’ve been followed by Dr Garfield for a few years since my old rheumatologist retired. For the care of my rheumatoid aethritis.

. He is a very dedicated, conscientious and very communicative physician, quite the contrary to my old physician who never explaimed anything, never stated any opinion about the future of my condition and ilness.

I am delighted with the communiation between Dr Garfield and I, he is a no nonsense man and one can feel he has your wellbeing and your understanding of your illness at heart, which makes a whole lot of difference.

Thank God for doctors like him.

Great guy, close to being on time. I believe I waited a half hour, much better than some doctors office. He looked at my results told me exactly what they meant and what we will need to do but in the future.

They sent me to him for OA treatment and DDD, he diagnosis me with Fibromyalgia. T o make it worse, I had tsh anti-bodies for Hashimoto's this year which means I probably had them then, too. His attitude was pretty classless, now I'm being profiled as a Fibromyalgia patient despite having no symptoms of Fibro and other conditions having nothing to do with it. Thanks. It was actually Hashimoto's causing the joint pain, and probably causing my DDD and OA as well & had a herniated disc in my neck that was life threatening that had to be treated with cortisone injections. He was pretty lazy, never sent me for further testing or follow ups for MRI's to keep watch on my condition and make sure it didn't deteriorate.

Do you even look at your patients reports, labs, etc? seems most doctor's don't these days, sadly...

Send your patients for the FM/A test before you try labelling them as a Fibro case, please. TWO tests for Fibromyalgia exist... surprised, most doctor's don't know this in Quebec. Oh, almost forgot the abnormal platelets I currently have too. Totally Fibromyalgia.. you can't get a hold of him anyway. Then again, you can't get a hold of most doctor offices in Quebec. Unacceptable. Expected to see me yearly for a deteriorating condition, too.

Dr. Garfield, you REALLY need to change your rude, miserable secretary. It is a shame as I see you have very good reviews and I would have liked to come see you.
Also, please make sure your lazy secretary updates her methods and processes and keeps up with the times. We are 2023 after all and not 1980. But maybe the lazy lady likes to get paid without having to do any work.

I have been trying for over a week to contact Dr. Garfiield's office to no avail. I have two numbers, but whichever number I dialled I get a response from the operator that says "The customer you have dialled is currently not available. Please try again later." I am a long-time patient of this doctor, and yet I am unable to contact his office, let alone make an appointment. Unacceptable!

Dr. Garfield has a professional approach to his office and I have had very good success over the many years that I have been a patient of his. His office staff are busy but at the same time very helpful and pleasant to deal with.
