Save yourself the time, and choose another doctor. On my first visit, the internet was down, and Navarte couldn't even complete the consult without the internet. He doesn't look directly at the patient, only the computer. He was so disoriented due to the lack of internet that his nurse had to call me a month later at home to ask what tests he wanted me to do. The staff is not much better. Narvarte wanted to see me quarterly, but I was not allowed to make an appointment because his time frame was "too far out". They said they would call me to schedule an appointment. It's been 6 months since that time and I still haven't received a call. I don't feel a patient should have to keep the doctor/or staff focused or organized on their job, especially when you've been diagnosed with the complication of a kidney disease.

Good doctor, but may be lacking in a couple of areas of his specialty. Great bedside manners. Very personable and gentelemanly
