This is the worst of the worst Dr's!!! Dr Mark Zalter is the reason my husband is no longer here!! He passed away because Dr Zalter drags his butt to help people just says "you have chronic pain and nothing has changed!!" 5 Days later my husband had a heart attack and then a month later was diagnosed with 4 different Cancers and Dr Zalter was full of EXCUSES!! He is and was a HORRIBLE doctor if that's what you want to call him. Karmas can be awful and I really hope you get the Karma you so rightly deserve, and if you get sick I hope they treat you as horrible as you treated your own patients!!! WORST DOCTOR EVER!!!

Dr. Zalter has been my family doctor since taking over for Dr. Mandel in Westdale 20-some years ago and I have no real complaints. I have 2 chronic conditions that he manages and never hesitates to book tests and referrals if necessary. There is never any judgement and he always asks about past issues if I dont bring them up first. If you see him late in the day he is less rushed and takes more time to chat.

I was hospitalized a while ago and he was conpletely up to date on my file when I was discharged and went to him for a follow up appointment.

There is some frustration with appointment wait times, etc. but that is a reflection of health care clinics as a whole and not the doctor himself. If he is not available other doctors in the clinic will usually see you same day if you ask. Robin is always a pleasure as well.

Zalter is the rudest, most arrogant and dismissive doctor I have had the misfortune to meet. He was my doctor for over 5 years. Need an appointment? 5-7 week wait for earliest available. Need a doctor's note for work? He won't see you for weeks and weeks. Even then he acts arrogant and jerky and says things like "signing this paper is a waste of my time"

He's actively rude and dismissive. Worst doctor I have ever had. I'd rather go to walk in clinics than see this dirt bag.

This person was my doctor for over 10 years, he is by far the worst doctor I ever had. I would get severe anxiety when having to deal with him and his office. The staff and policies are sub par to say the least, calling there is a complete joke 30th in the cue, an hour wait. This doctor denied me referrals to specialists and test that I desperately needed. He caused me so much pain and stress over the years, then I finally got the courage, found a doctor accepting new patients and saved the money to move my families files to the new doctor. He is so cold with absolutely no compassion or bedside manner, it's very sad!

i have no complaints about Dr. Zalter. He has always listened, suggested, confirmed and was easy to explain things to and receive proper instructions from. Highly Recommend him. I have been with him for many years

Don't waste your time. He doesn't care about is patients and prescribes medication that isn't correct. Won't even face you when you're talking to him.

My father had COPD and lung disease which I did not know as my father did not tell me. He kept saying he was fine. He was apparently very sick and Zalter never said a word to me. I'm really angry and pissed off about this. My father was hiding this and I guess just gave up. If Zalter had told me at least I would not have been in an illusion that he was healthy and could have taken steps to help him more.

This doctor is rude and you only get 2 questions or 1 form 1 question. You literally get doubted when you ask your questions. He is a j#rk if your 5 minutes late he cancels your appointment. He is always late everytime.

I had my son circumcised here and they forgot to get me to sign the consent form. As well I suffer from depression and was prescribed a medication but he gave me an extremely high dosage that I couldn’t handle. It’s been a week and a half I have been trying to get in touch with him to lower it. All while cold turkey quitting my meds. Which is a problem in its own. I’ve also had the receptionist give the nurse the wrong babies information when I go in for needles. The ONLY positive thing about this office is the one nurse Stacy. She’s amazing and the only reason I continue to bring my son here.

A horrible doctor!!! My sister was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She spent several months trying to get this doctor to take her concerns seriously. He seemed to think that she had nothing to worry about and told her that there was no need for her to be concerned! Finally, she took it upon herself to follow up with the doctor's office to have a CT scan after he did not bother to arrange any tests. This doctor should be reported to the College of Physicians and Surgeons for his negligence in dealing with my sister's health concerns and passing them off as a minor problem. My sister now has an amazing doctor, that actually cares about her. In my opinion, he should not be dealing with patients since he is obviously incompetent!!!
