I have 5 children and Dr.kyriakides has been their Pediatrician since day 1. Dr.Kyriakides actually saved the life of my 1st child who was born premature and contracted RSV. We went in for a checkup after my daughter was released from hospital. While waiting in the room I had my daughter bundled up in her blanket, Dr.kyriakides walked in and immediately said, " how long has she been like that?!!" And immediately sprung into action, because my daughter was not breathing! Me being a first time Mom and because I had my daughter bundled up in a blanket, I couldn't tell, but Dr.kyriakides could see immediately and saved her life. That was 24 yrs ago and Dr.kyriakides has been our Pediatrician up until her retirement. I have only great things to say about her and all(5) of my kids loved going to see her and we were all so sad to see her retire.

Dr. Kyriakides was my son's doctor since birth. She was excellent when we first went to her BUT THEN everything changed. My son was diagnosed with complete heart block due to a virus when he was 4. We went to her with concerns as he was having a lot of what we suspected were allergic reactions with lip swelling, hives, and feeling unwell. She told us to give him some anti-histamines and be on our way. This continued on for 2 years. My son was not gaining weight, had constant diarrhea, hives, irritability, missed a lot of school... he was always sick. When we went back to her I mentioned I had done some research online she dismissed me by saying "Oh Dr. Google" and rolled her eyes at me. She continued to tell us it is just a virus. Now, this is when I lost it because I know how dangerous viruses can be, one almost took my son's life and we live with the damage it has done to him every day. She didn't have the compassion to use different language or even begin to understand our journey with all of this. She finally agreed to send us to an allergist, who saw us for less than 5 minutes and told us he has OAS. We changed our whole lives again to accommodate my son's issues and nothing was working. I finally called, because I no longer wanted to go in to her office, and after her receptionist spoke to her, she agreed to send him to a pediatric allergist, Dr. Carr, who is FANTASTIC! It was truly the only good thing she did for us in the last 5 years.

Dr. Kyriakides has been my daughter's pediatrician since she was 30-days old. Under Dr. Kyriakides' wonderful care, my daughter was able to beat all odds and she survived . My daughter will turn 10 this year and she is able to continue to live a quality life because of Dr. Kyriakides and many other dedicated medical professionals. They are angels and miracle workers!

If I could give her 0 stars I would I have been fighting saying there is something wrong with my kids bowels as he screams in pain all the time about his stomach and never poops, all she does is say give him restorealax and he will be fine, no matter how often I say it doesn't work. If you get refered to her ask for a different Dr.

I have been using Dr. Kyriakides for 3 1/2 years now, and couldn't be happier. We have been through our fair share of doctors with my kiddos and she is the best! She listens and takes the time to answer any questions you may have. I don't know what more we could ask for!

The receptionist is unbelievable. Took two weeks of calling twice daily to get through and finally get an appointment. I was asked to come early cause the doctor had an appointment to go to. I come
10 minutes early and I was very rudely being rushed, anyone who has been 8 months pregnant with a preschooler know it's not an easy task. When my son was refusing to be weighed the receptionist comes back out and says he needs to hurry up the doctor has an appointment in the rudest of ways. So I grabbed my stuff told her I will find a new doctor who actually cares about my children when I rarely bring them in unless it's a serious issues. She has always brushed issues off as no big deal, or tries to push stuff on you that you have previous disagreed with. Unacceptable behaviour as a doctor.

Dr. K is terrific. Level-headed, caring, and great with our daughter. She's a pre-schooler and likes going to see Dr. K, which says a lot. She's obviously been in practice for a long time, and yet has so few reviews here be careful listening to the negative comments on this site - this is a tiny fraction of the patients Dr. K has cared for. These are probably the angry people that the rest of us wish we didn't have to interact with.

Zero stars! Worst doc I've ever seen. I'd only took my kids to see her if I thought the issue was serious enough for a professional who specializes in children otherwise they saw our family doctor. First she missed the fact my daughter was lactose intolerant by saying all her symptoms were all in her head because of a recent death in the family, then completely dismissed other symptoms my daughter was having as her not wanting to go to school. (My daughter is a 90%+ student by the way.) Turns out my daughter has reflux, that without treatment would have resulted in esophageal cancer! Stay away from this quack!

The worst Dr I have ever come across. I do hope that one day karma will hit her and she it is only that day she will understand the pain and suffering she puts people through. Shame on you Christine Kyriakides
