I’ve been seeing Dr. Bernard for over 20 years. It’s true that at the beginning he was very compassionate, kind and had an excellent bedside manner. But he has become extremely rude, belligerent and very condescending. You’re not allowed to have an opinion and if you dare not agree with him then he becomes rude. He’s constantly pushing meds and doesn’t care to listen. It’s unfortunate because going to Albany Clinic is very convenient, but we will be looking for a new physician. Enough is enough!

Garbage doctor. Stay away from this hot head. Very unprofessional, unhelpful and basically useless. I have made visits to investigate health concerns and he can’t be bothered to even do an examination or make a referral to a specialist. This guy is a terrible doctor.

My family and I've been seeing Dr. Bernard for over 10 years and he used to be very friendly, personable, charming, relaxed. But in the last 1-2 years he has become very nasty, moody, belligerent and rude. It is sad because we really liked going to Albany Clinic where a lot of things are in one building but we moved doctors because Dr. Bernard has become so moody that you never know if he's going to just dismiss you or even say mean things to you. He needs a vacation or maybe a career change.

Dr. Bernard has been my doctor for twenty years. We have been through a lot together and I have always felt like my health was his top priority. He is kind and concerned. I have read some of these other reviews and honestly I feel like they are talking about someone else! I have always found him very respectful! Highly recommend :)

Run for the hills. This doctor is terrible and negligent. Very rude, condescending and arrogant. Will dismiss your symptoms with zero examination. He is unable to listen to your issues. If he does not agree with your statements he will raise his voice in after. I will never visit this doctor again after my last visit, it was a horrendous experience that left me very upset and still looking for help and answers.

Dr. Bernard takes the necessary time to listen effectively and respond with a helpful diagnosis. He has helped me through many trials both mental and physical and referred me to other practitioners when appropriate. If you have been his pt. for 20 years yet the first time you bother to critique him online is your bad experience 20 years later, maybe you are a crappy patient.
