He thoroughly investigates everything and provides excellent referrals. His staff is excellent and takes my blood sample in the office and does not make me go to the lab.

Dr. Silver's interest is money. Not patients. Find a doctor that actually cares.

First of all, he seems to always be in a hurry to get you out the door.
He always is very interested in prescribing the supplements that he sells at exorbitant prices.
He is very slow in getting back to the patient with results from tests.

Dr. Silver is very professional and knowledgable. He is very thorough and provides excellent investigation and referrals. The above are qualities I look for in a Doctor and I would highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Silver for over 6 years and I'm very thankful to have him as my doctor. Dr. Silver is a very busy doctor but always very professional, and I'm extremely impressed by his knowledge. Before seeing Dr. Silver I was sick for over 2 years and no one including 2 specialists were able to figure out what was wrong with me, he was able to diagnose me on the first visit and I can't thank him enough!! Would highly recommend Dr. Silver to anyone!! Just wish there were more doctors out there like him!!!

I would be very weary of this doctor. How are these so called Dr. Silver patients referring their friends to see him when Dr. Silver's own staff has admitted Dr. Eric Silver has not taken in new clients for over 4 years now. Do your background search on this Doctor folks. And keep in mind these 5 star posts are only coming from him and his staff. Just do your research on him. He has a very checked history.

I have been a patient of Dr Silver for 5 years and I have not had a better doctor ever. I like him because he listens and believes me when I have complaints. He does not ask me to wait and see if it goes away, but rather gets me to go for some tests right away and bases his opinion on facts and those results. He does not push antibiotics or strong medications when not required. In mild cases he has options to get some natural supplements which I personally prefer anyway. He does not push either way but lets me pick which option I want unless the illness requires real medication treatment and that is what I am told to take then. Yes he is fast, but I have never had any questions unanswered. And I refer to my friends for casual chats, as doctors are busy and we all want to be seen, right? His staff is amazing and I always feel very welcomed there. I am very surprised by the complaints on this site.

I had started to see Dr. Silver after my previous family doctor retired. As such, I can't rate him without the comparison to my previous doctor. He's one of the younger generation of busy doctors that are trying to see as many patients as he can. This adds to his OHIP billing which I feel he overdoes. He also tries to push his stock of supplements and remedies a little too eagerly. I now look at what he asks me to take, and try and find it elsewhere which saves me money. I have no insurance or benefits and do not buy his extended package that covers additional stuff, I see him with my OHIP coverage only. My previous doctor was more thorough in the preliminary part of the visit, asking lots of questions to determine the situation, and very good during the actual examination. His support staff are generally good, the and reception area only okay.

An excellent Doctor! he has given me my life back. He is thorough, caring and extremely knowledgeable. He has helped me more than the many specialists that i have visited. His willingness to offer natural alternatives before jumping to provide a prescription sets him apart. When conventional treatment is indicated you can trust his judgement. I highly recommend Dr. Silver.
