Staff are not friendly, wait time for your appointment 2 hours and more. Doctors or PA order too many unnecessary follow appointments.

We went to her about one year ago for my daughter, who had food poisoning. She was getting better but insisted on going to a doctor, and since we had recently moved we went to this doctor. It was kind of a worthless office visit (as I knew it would be) but then this doctor booked us for a completely unnecessary follow-up visit (we either canceled or simply didn't go). Then, to top it off, this doctor and/or her staff have called my cell phone on numerous occasions as a purported friendly "reminder" for my kids to come in for shots, regular medical exams, etc. When either her or her staff talk on the phone, they are INCREDIBLY RUDE. It's like you are arguing with a voice recording. VERY PUSHY AND UNWELCOME DEMEANOR IN THIS REGARD; very similar to a telemarketer.

Dr. Melocoton is quite possibly the worst doctor I have ever taken my child to. The wait time in her office was always well over an hour, and she never called with lab results. I had to call her to find out that my son had a high white blood count - pretty important information to be withholding! When I switched him to another pediatrician, she ignored repeated requests for his medical records. When I called to inquire about the delay, office personnel lied to me and said they never received the faxed request from the new office, even though I stood there when it was faxed and got a transmission verification.

- Had our first appointment at 9am so we arrived at the office around 8:45. They came around 9:10 and opened the office at 9:15 so we had to wait outside with our babies for about 30 minutes. Not so punctual! Too bad for a First Impression! <br /> - The second time was for my babies vaccine. After almost two hours of waiting, she said to come back a week after because they ran out of vaccines and they still had to order it. We went back a week after, paid the co-pay and found out it wasn't there yet and we had to come back AGAIN tomorrow. It was ok that she said we don't need to pay another co-pay, but TIME, EFFORT and TRANSPORTATION are still to consider. Waited for TWO HOURS for just the shots! The nurses are not gentle when they gave the vaccines. In fact. my baby's thigh bled so much that we had to replace a bigger bandage. I wouldn't risk my baby's health again. Two hours of waiting and she doesn't even last 10 minutes inside the room to check up or baby.
