Both Dr. Withers and her receptionist gave a scathing response to me showing up for what I thought was my appointment time. [It was in my book]. They both were completely rude, didn't understand that there were other things going on with me other than just my skin and just accused me of unacceptable behaviour, when, in fact, it was the both of them that were rude, obnoxious and completely mean. Their behaviour as well as mine, by the way, was witnessed by a friend who would have told me if she thought I was out of order. I immediately went and reported this to my referring physician and got referred to another dermatologist who took me within a week. AND who doesn't seem like the kind of man to ever treat me or anyone else in this manner... Please don't go to Dr. Withers if you can possibly get another.

There is a lengthy wait for all specialists in BC. Dr Withers is professional and pleasant. Trish is one of the best medical office assistants I have come across, efficient, hard working and kind. Thank you both!

I waited 6 months for my appointment. Upon my arrival at the clinic the receptionist was very friendly, however Dr. Michelle Withers was rude and seemed like I was wasting her time during my consultation. She made me feel dumb for getting a routine check up on my skin (even though there is a family history of skin cancer). I will not be returning to her and would advise anyone else to seek professional help else where. The role of a doctor in our community, in my opinion, should be to help people by providing their knowledge and help solve or address medical issues. She did everything but that. She lectured me as if I was her daughter, barely looked at my issue, and quickly prescribed me with a topical cream that I could’ve easily gotten from my family doctor.

Very disappointed to have been charged a no-show fee for an appointment scheduled for the day after their summer break. Received a call Aug 21 2019 with no message, called back Aug 27 2019 to find out when my appointment was and instead found out they’re shut down till Sept 3 2019. Phoned Sept 4 to find out my appointment was Sept 3 and I would be charged a $70 no show fee if Dr Withers would not waive it. Dr Withers would not waive it. This is a highly regarded doctor (have seen her before and have no issue with her competence) whose office seems comfortable with near-predatory practices. Hoping my GP can refer me to someone else.

Good doc. A bit bossy, though. No idea why she is not accepting prescription renewal by fax from pharmacy. Sure I understand the need for re-diagnosis, but if a patient has had same ointments for years and years it just would save a lot of waiting time. Also an unnecessary time without medication would be prevented. This not a big thing, just convenience. Generally she a good doctor and I like to go to her clinic again.

I waited 3 months to see dr. Withers who immediately diagnosed me with eczema, when i told her ive been going to numerous doctors over the past year who also thought it may be eczema and treated me for it with the strongest creams and steroids but with no success eand a half n have recently been diagnosed with c-anca vasculitis which has simular skin symptoms, she told me i was hostile and offered to prescribe me anti-depressants. I asked her for a biopsy which my lung specialist requested and was told by dr. Withers that she would send the biopsy results to my family doctor. I had ask a couple time to get it sent to my specialist. She then told me get some sun and sent me on my way. Hostile... no, but i did leave frustrated and in tears.

I really dislike doctors with a passion BUT Dr. Withers was super, down to earth, told U exactly what was going on and gave advice to do it now. Did my biopsy, great sewer as well. I returned to remove stitch with no pain. Trisha was great as well. Wud I go back? in a heartbeat!

This is the 2nd time I've seen Dr. Withers, the first being approximately 4 years ago. On both occasions, she was attentive, thorough, professional and pleasant. I will not hesitate to see her again.

Dr. Michelle Withers is a classic CORPORATE PSYCHOPATH, the type that reigns terror on her co-workers and peers but of course, being self employed, it's her patients who bear the brunt of her personality. On some days these people can be charming and on some days they can be rude monsters. That's why some reviews on here have good experiences and praise her, and yet some would run for the hills. This You Tube Ted Talk perfectly explains the traits I see in Dr. Withers. Basically, if you as a patient need a dermatologist and can put up with the bullying and abusive type of personality, then Dr. Withers is an ok doctor for you because she does know her stuff. She is knowledgeable. Thank god though she is self employed. These type of personalities wreak havoc in office environments. It's all about them! They are the centre of the world. In this case, I'm sure she feels annoyed by having to deal with stupid patients. She answered one of my simple questions as if I was completely stupid to even ask it. Very classic from a corporate psychopath. Enjoy the video. Then decide if Dr. Withers if for you as a patient.
