After suffering for three plus years and a ton of misdiagnoses I was referred to Dr. Marck and his office. Best thing EVER! The staff are warm and friendly and always remember your name. Dr. Marck is a treat to deal with. You just know that he's comfortable in his own skin and his ability. For the first time in forever I have absolute trust in my doctor, a very rare event in Alberta of late.

I recently had septoplasty surgery and had a great experience with Dr. Marck. I am happy with the results (I can breathe through both nostrils again!) and have no complaints. Dr. Marck has a very dry sense of humour which I personally appreciated, but I think, judging from some of the previous comments, maybe not everyone "gets". Dr. Marck is very personable, knowledgeable and he really takes the time to answer your questions and make you feel at ease. Despite his busy schedule, he never rushed any of my appointments and when I was running late one day (because of the weather), his receptionist was very understanding and his staff were always very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Marck!

Dr Marcks was a professional all the way from consult to operation to follow up. Dr marcks performed nasal and throat surgery on me and the outcome has been very positive with no major complications. I am breathing better thanks to his skills and my days of snoring are behind me. great job Doctor! Thanks.

I have been seeing Dr. Marck for 4 years now with regards to my nose. He is fantastic. I haveadnose for years. He performed nose surgery on me in 2009 and I was great for the first year. Last year I started feeling the same as I did before surgery. He found me to have nasal polyps. He sent me for allergy testing but that's not the problem. The allergy doctor said he doesn't know what's wrong with me. I went back to Dr. Marck and he put me on some nasal steroid sprays to see if that will shrink the polyps. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. I am very happy he is my ENT specialist!!

Join a Rock and Roll Band, these are the "evidence based medicine" words of wisdom to come from his mouth when I waited several months for treatment and received none, simply these words. I suffer from a disturbing disorder called pulsatile tinnitus, unlike regular tinnitus where there is ringing, I get to experience every single beat of my heart loudly in my ear for every waking moment of the day. Following the appointment I observed him across the street having a glass of wine...

I am very disappointed with Dr.Marck.My son had a nose polyp surgery, and the doctor did not even see him after the operation. Then when picking up the antibiotic, the pharmacist realized that the doctor prescribed an antibiotic that my son is very allergic to!This was shocking considering my son pointed out explicitly in the pre-operation interview that he was allergic to this medicine! When the pharmacist called the hospital to change the prescription, she couldn't get a hold of Dr. Marck after a whole day of trying, and the day surgery nurses at the hospital did not offer to help either. It's incredibly shocking that no one at the hospital considered this mistake by Dr.Marck to be serious enough to offer help. I cannot believe that the doctor erroneously prescribed my son with a medicine that endangers his life, and that it was impossible to get a hold of him after the operation. If the pharmacist didn't catch the mistake, I don't even want to imagine what could have happened.

I went to Dr. Marck approsimately 7 years ago to get some excess tissue removed from my nose. I had had the surgery before from a guy who worked on me while I was in Winnipeg but he held back.Marck had a kind manner with me from the start, took a look, we booked the surgery when he discovered what he had to do (it was so bad I could not sleep at night because my breathing was affected) and although the surgery was a success, I vomited after which is normal. It was the anesthesia and the fact that during the procedure I had a tube down my throat. I do have to purchase nasonex and flonase-well one or the other because Calgary is very dry but all these years later my nose is good even still. Hooray Dr. Marck!

Dr. Marc is very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. He operated on me twice and I had not experienced any post-surgery problem. His frontdesk staff is super nice as well, always remembers patients' names.
