These negative comments are so surprising - there's somebody frustrated and sick that is running an online defamation campaign against Dr Sylvain Rene. I'm so sorry to see that, and thank you Dr Rene for your excellent work.

Dr Rene Sylvain is a great doctor. Really professional, he takes the time to diagnostic and provide the best solution. He was recommended to me by my friend and we are both really happy with his services.

Terrible doctor. Very rude, dismissive. Dr. Rene should not even be aloud to practice anymore. He has visual impairment. He cannot see. How can a doctor be able to practice if he cannot see. He posted a notice that the appropriate arrangements have been made for him to practice. He has an administrator in his examination room to help him to enter information to his computerized files. That is all. If the patient has a complaint/concern on their body that needs to be visually inspected by a Doctor, that does not happen. Only option is to ask the administrative lady to describe so he can asses the concern. Not fair to any of his patients. He is verbally abusive and rude to his patients.

Dr.Rene was rude, dismissive and Verbally agressive. Instead of listening to my concerns, he berated me to the point where I just left. He was verbally abusive to his assistant (Patricia, you need to get out of this place!). His appearance was so unkempt, that I thought I was placed in an exam room with another patient. His belly was hanging out of his shirt, and his breath was terrible. I feel truly violated by this doctor, and will be filing a formal complaint.

The clinic is good, but man this "doctor" would not look at me, referred me to my family doctor as my issues were not an emergency and proceeded to bill me so I could not get another doctor to actually check me. This was a walk in clinic! This is fraudulent to me and a waste of tax payers money. The man should not be practicing or be honest that he cannot see properly which I found out later.

Rude, unprofessional and unhelpful doctor. After waiting a month to reach the appointment day, I went for 10 AM appointment one hour earlier but I couldn't see the DR. before 11 am. I brought my labs which I have had two weeks ago at ER, the doctor was shouting on me because he thought the labs weren't enough (OK, give me what do you think is necessary), as I am new in the city I wasn't remembering the name of the hospital, I asked him if I can call my husband to get the name he told me that he don't have time and he asked me to come another day just because I don't have the name of the hospital! What change will make to you if you will know that? Also, He was asking me about the day and time trying to tell me I am crazy!!!

Not only a terrible doctor but a horrible unsympathetic person - He would only see me for 30 seconds after waiting an hour and a half in abso
lute agony and I left the practice in tears without any medical guidance or direction.

Rude, and not listening to the questions I had because the time was "off". Not caring about his patients. Even kind of agressive once.

Dr.Rene Sylvan is very helpful; specially skillful in diagnostic matters. Professionally he services
any specific health concerns as a priority. He is professionally direct logically to the point.
Recommends other professional specialists if there is a need. My experience has been positive
and the Staff Secretary Nurse is very caring. Very knowledgeable Dr. specific communicator.

My son has a bad scalp ringworm infection and dr. Rene referred him to the dermatologist without even giving him any advice what to do in the meanwhile. My younger one had it first and we let dr. Rene know of that fact and we also emailed to the clinic the photos of his sacalp. Dr. Rene was ultra rude when he asked if he can get something in the meanwhile as this is very contagious and dermatologist's appt. was to be in next few months (as fungus should not stay on his head for 2 months without taking absolutely any meds). He replied in some rude manner that he deserves the right to decide and literally passed the phone to the secretary ie hang up on him. So we had to call another clinic near by where we had no problem with getting the anti fungal medication and are about to start it.
