Dr . Ashurtz is very personable, courteous, highly skilled and very knowledgeable. He is very thorough, asks questions and listens carefully. One of his specialties is hypertension which is a very good thing for people my age (and those younger). Happy to have found him as my new PCP.

I have a totally different perspective on Dr Ashurst. Years ago he misdiagnosed me causing me to spend 5 unnecessary days in the hospital. Even the nurses told me his diagnosis was incorrect, however I knew it but could not convince him. He never visited me in the hospital but sent another doctor who was also inept. Thus, to this date I do not deal with doctors associated with memorial hospital.

Dr. Ashurst is the best doctor in the world as far as I'm concerned. He literally saved my life and I am forever appreciative to him and his staff for really caring for their patients. He has been my Primary Care Physician for the past 18 or so years and I highly recommend him. He is not only a doctor, he's so much more once he enters your examining room you become the only patient he has for the period of time. It's all about you and everyone deserves that type of patient care, time and attention especially when you are sick. I adore Dr Ashurst. When I was 23 I went through a major ordeal and he seemed to care so much. I credit him with actually helping to save my life! My father in law goes to him as well and wouldn't trust anyone else!

Dr. Ashurst is a wonderful doctor. I have always been very leary about going to the doctor. He was recommended to me by my son-in-law who is a Orthopedic Surgeon and the way that he spoke of Dr. Ashurst it was a no brainer to me to go and give him a try.
