One of the most amazing abdominal doctors in Dallas! Removed my husbands gallbladder and all incisions healed beautifully and he feels amazing now! Thank you Dr. Gogel for taking such great care of my husband!

I was referred to him for abdominal pain. He recommended exploratory surgery. He didn't find anything but I still had the pain. That's not his fault but I told him this several times and he shook my hand and said good luck and walked me out. He also told me it's better to look good than feel good and I looked good. And the worst thing he did was send the referring dr a letter saying I told him I was so much better after the surgery. I wouldn't have knows except I went back to see her and she said she was glad I was feeling so much better and told me about the letter. I've found a lot of drs who could care less about the patient as long as they get their money and Dr. Gogel is one of them. I'm not sure how he's won the awards he's won. Maybe he's nice to the patients who are seriously ill. I hope so. He basically told me my pain was in my head and after he did surgery and told me there was nothing wrong I would feel better. I've never been sick in my life. I do not recommend!!

Dr Gogel is highly skilled, confident, attentive & professional... yet has a genuine warmth, lovely personality & presence that is refreshingly human & comforting. Dr. Gogel took care of my father for ampullary cancer. Even though the prognosis may not be great, he refused to give him an estimate for how long he has left. He gave him optimism. His bedside manner was awesome. Sat on the side of the bed with my father and talked to him not above him. He was awesome and comes recommended without hesitation.

He did a great job of answering my questions, removing my Melanoma, and recommending a long term plan with a good dermatologist to keep an eye out for potential future occurrences. It was a simple surgery and I am now cancer free. Going into surgery I felt safe with his skills as the surgeon, and the anesthesiologist that worked in conjunction with him was great and did a good job of accommodating my picky request.

Dr. Gogel is an outstanding surgeon and I was very blessed to have him do my surgery! Nothing like going under knowing you are in good hands. I had to have major complex surgery and he had amazing bedside manner. Highly recommend him. Office staff is super courteous and nice.

We thank him for all he did while trying to help our mom from a previous bad surgery if we would have only got to him first she would still be with us. I can't say enough good things about this physician. Dr Gogel listened to me, answered all of my questions, made me feel comfortable and very reassuring. I had to have a bilateral mastectomy and I was scared to death. The outcome of my surgery is better than I ever anticipated. I am grateful for this doctor, he's just awesome!! (and! I'm cancer free!)
