What started with a simple gastric bypass went bad with an infected staple. Dr Shires took care of me with the rest of the doctors in his office for 3 years until the final surgery in 2018. I went septic. 10% chance of living. Can't speak highly enough of Dr. Shires. Professionally, surgerically, expertise wise, friendliness; he's the greatest. He's just great and down to earth. I hope I never need another surgery, but if I do, I'll ask Dr. Shires to do it. Hands down.
