Dr. Stela Tudoran was a great doctor, knew her medicine. She had to have been a saint for putting up with some of these patients!

Dr. Tudoran did not use gloves at any point during the exam, and she did not wash her hands (before or after). She put her bare, unwashed hands in my mouth; it was horrible. I must have rinsed out my mouth 10 times to get out the awful taste of her fingers. I highly suspect that she does not even sterilize her equipment after exams, because she didn't even separate the used tools from the unused tools. The exam room and much of the office was a disgusting mess. She barely listened to me at all; she asked me the same question 4 times in 5 minutes.

I told her I was having ear trouble, and yet she did not even look into my ear with an otoscope, like any normal doctor would. So without even properly examining my ear canal, she decided to wrap a piece of cotton (again with bare, unwashed hands) around a very long, sharp object and use it to "clean" what little wax there was in my ear, because "[she] didn't like the wax in there". She could have easily perforated my eardrum with that thing, and now my hearing and ear pain is even worse than it was before! And just days before, I had been to a real doctor who told me I had a normal amount of earwax; people are supposed to have some wax in their ears!

She tried to get me to do some more diagnostic tests, but after all that, I refused and immediately walked out. I have never just walked out of an appointment like that, but this was the most utterly appalling medical experience I have ever had. This woman is utterly unprofessional, and I very much question her competency. If you value your health, do not go to Dr. Tudoran!

I will agree with the previous comments that Dr. Tudoran does request a lot of testing. However I feel these tests are performed in order to get to the root of ones problem. Most doctors will only treat your symptoms until the problem goes away but eventually it will come back. Dr. Tudoran tries to find the cause of your symptoms which could be from environmental or food allergies and then treats the cause rather than the symptom. I feel Dr. Toudoran is very knowledgeable and through. I do find she is not always punctual with her appointments and I may have to wait at times, but anyone who has been to see her knows how much time she spends with each patient assessing your condition. I would rather wait for a doctor that is through & cares about finding the root of my problem rather than hand me a prescription that treats my condition until the next time it occurs.

This doctor performs frivolous testing rather than treating a simple sinus infection! She is only interested in doing expensive allergy testing to make money-oh and insurance doesn't cover a lot of this despite what she tells you!
