Dr Wakim is unfortunately my OB and I’m very disappointed in the care I have received this far from her. Our healthcare system is so broken that I have no other option but to stay under her care. I don’t doubt she’s a great doctor with lots of knowledge but she didn’t give me the time of day. As other reviewers have wrote the wait was long, her nurse was rude and when she came in the room she was in an out in less then five minutes, didn’t allow me anytime to ask questions and when I did try to stop her to ask about a concern I had she brushed it off as she ran out the door. I understand she has lots of patient’s to tend to but there is no bedside manner or compassion and support from this office. If you care about those things I highly suggest you don’t get referred here for care during your pregnancy.

Dr. Wakim is fantastic. As a FTM I have a million questions at every visit, and she always always takes the time to walk me and my husband through all of our concerns and all options. Her wait times are long because she genuinely cares about her patients and doesn’t rush them with questions. She’s so knowledgeable, so thorough and has the memory of an elephant which is how you know she actually cares about the moms she works with.

I go to Dr. Wakim as a Gynecologist. Her knowledge is top tier and she always puts my concerns at ease. The wait times are long but she is incredibly busy and does get called away on emergencies.

The wait times at this office are not just long - they are unacceptable. She is HOURS late to every appointment. They need to better plan and book patients

The wait is long but worth it. I generally wait anywhere from 1-3.5 hours but it was the same with the other OB I had with my first pregnancy. When you're in the room however all attention is on you. She has always answered all my questions and followed up where necessary.

We can wait 2.5 hours to meet her. But she is not ready to hear us properly for even 2.5 minutes!! She may be one of the most experienced and knowledgeable OB. But her clinic should maintain the schedule. Waiting time is huge. And she should hear her patient’s response problems.

Excellent OB and very knowledgeable. She takes the time to answer all of your questions and has great bedside manner. Her wait times are often long, but she's also the Chief OB at Grand River and gets called for emergencies from time to time. Regardless she's worth the wait, and her experience with working with patients who have/had high risk pregnancies is something that is very beneficial. She diagnosed and caught my condition with pre-eclampsia and was able to have me induced during my 1st pregnancy. Highly recommend her!

Dr. Wakim is rude and condescending. Her care is inconsistent, either good or really terrible. It depends on her mood at the moment.

This is my first pregnancy. I don’t have much to compare but I have to say Dr. Wakim makes me feel very content and understood. She is very kind and down to earth when she speaks to me. I truly trust her and find her bedside manner great. All the staff at the office are very on it. The office is slow and you wait a long time to be seen but she is busy and takes the time to talk to you. I highly recommend her. She is so sweet!
