I cant even understand anyone giving this phd and april a good reference!! Duncan must have a service that she pays to plant these good reviews? She and april are a nightmare!! Do your child a favor and keep looking for someone who knows what they are doing, and instructs her staff to be professional and polite!! Your child needs to be on their schedule and miss school to do so!!

We have been patients for 10 years. Dr. Duncan is a blessing. She always goes above and beyond for our son. We are so grateful for her time. Her staff is always friendly and everyone is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this doctor

I contacted Dr. Duncan to get a behavioral assessment conducted for my son (11). Her diagnosis was ODD and mild ADHD. The plan Dr. Duncan recommended was that we see our pediatrician to discuss ADHD medication, and that we continue sessions for behavioral counseling for the ODD. We had 3 appointments, all of which resulted in her merely telling our son that he should listen to us and that what we were asking for was not unreasonable (chores). I concur with several other reviews that she talks more than listens, and it's nearly impossible to get a word in edgewise...like she's in a hurry to get us out and move on. During our $150 assessment consultation (that we were told wasn't covered by insurance), she actually looked at the clock several times. For the 4th appointment, we were 17 minutes late due to 1) traffic, and 2) pulling over so that my son could throw up because of his new meds. I told the receptionist that it was acceptable to us that we keep our session with only 40 minutes left. NOPE; 15 minutes late is the limit! I rescheduled the appointment to the following week. However, when I got home, I discovered that they had run my credit card (that they require be kept on file so that you don't have a choice in paying) and charged $75...nearly the full amount of the session time that they wouldn't let me stay for. I called and asked to speak to Dr. Duncan; I felt that if we were going to continue with her, I wanted a clear plan for the behavioral improvement sessions that she recommended, but had never conducted. I was informed that I had to schedule (and pay for) a 'conference' with Dr. Duncan just to ask her that question. She couldn't pick up the phone and CALL ME? ...even though I'd spend hundreds of dollars already?! Given the quality of her counseling, and the harshness of her policies, I feel that she's more interested in milling people through her office than she is in the mental well being of her patients. Not for my son...we're finding someone else.

Our experience with this psychologist was awful!! Huge ego, loves to hear her own voice, interrupted constantly to add her own incorrect assumptions, never answers direct questions. Tedious testing ($$$$) yielding no information, absence of any real diagnoses, treatment or referral....via testing or communication.....a total waste of money and time!!! Keep looking!!

extremely unprofessional, incredibly callous & uncaring. for the education she's had, the credentials she alleges and the cv she portrays, her lack of knowledge, understanding, comprehension and competence was shocking. The staff is horrible unless bipolar attitude is something you are interested in,,,,,I would not only walk but run,,,,,,,

I have been to many different counselors,psychologist and psychiatrist. I have never been to someone like this that was so unprofessional. Not only with completely unprofessional comments to me but would not listen aftering asking me a question. I literally had to fight to talk just to get out the answer of the question she asked. My husband had never been to a counselor but even he could not believe the unprofessional behavor and comments.

After several doctors we have found the perfect doctor. Dr Duncan has a talent to work with children with social skills challenges. Watching the amazing progress with my daughter has been so memorable. Our family is so happy that we have found this doctor and her amazing staff. My daughter has Asperger Syndrome and ADHD and I have faith that her functional level will improve exponentially with Dr. Duncan.

Dr. Duncan was essential in resolving conflict between me and my ex-husband in regards to communication. My kids are the better for it.
