Dr. Dervay is rude and condescending. She does not listen and appears to determine if you have a medical isssue before her limited physical exam. Never experienced such an inept physician. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

BEWARE! Stay away from this doctor. She is a monster. She does not listen and she will ruin your life. I read this same review but ignored it and I am paying for it now. She put untrue things in your records so no other doctors will see you. Trust this review. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR SHE IS VERY VERY BAD.

I was having pain from a short arm cast. Dr. Dervay took the time to assess the problem and explain the situation. I did not feel rushed and I appreciate her concern and interest in my problem. As a retired Master Chief Hospital Corpsman with 27 years active duty, I would have been proud to serve with a physician of her caliber. Thank you for the opportunity to comment on this outstanding physician.

I find Dr. Dervey to be extremely helpful. Her caring approach to the issues I have with back pain is more than a little helpful. She takes time to see what I am doing to help myself and make suggestions to help minimize my pain and improve mobility. It isn't her job to evaluate the cause of my pain, the neurologist is the one responsible for that, when he sent me to Dr. Dervey it was only after it was determined the nerve damage wasn't something he could deal with.

As for the staff; it is a busy office but I have never had them be rude or anything but professional, helpful and supportive. She did have one particular substitute aid there the last time I was in the office and she was anything but helpful, her regular assistant is wonderful.

Dr. Dervey hasn't given up on me and is always open to exploring new ways to deal with pain that aren't by way of pain meds, though, if a person just gives up and just wants pain pills to deal with their pain, that is their choice.

Extremely rude! Did not even get to know me before making me feel like a junkie looking for pills. I never even implied I was there for medication. I never wanted to go to pain management (PM) because I thought that all the doctor did was write pain medicine scripts. The only reason I went is because another doctor I was seeing said that PM helped in other ways. All this woman was focused on was my medication list and asking, condescendingly might I add, why this doctor did this or why that doctor did that. She down played the pain I am dealing with as though I was making it all up. I left the office feeling ashamed I ever went. I will not go back and I would highly recommend you go elsewhere if you want to be treated like a human being.

Just an FYI I ended up going back to my other doctor, she fixed my PT orders and I learned my spine and hip are slightly twisted and that is why I'm in so much pain.

Stay far, far, FAR away from Dervay. She is one of the worst doctors I've ever met in my life!

Dr. Dervay is the rudest dr. I have ever seen. She does not allow you to finish your sentence and treats you like you are a drug addict and she is not there to help you just judge you. I would not take my dog (ex husband to see her) If you know what is good for you stay as far away as you can.

Very rude and judgemental, did not even ask what took place during my car accident and made many assumptions and minimalized the pain I was in, seemed annoyed to have to treat me and suggested I had other "issues" that were my problem, terrible experience, I would never treat a patient the way she treated me, went somewhere else and they actually helped me and reduced the pain I was experiencing.
