Best gynecologist I ever dealt with. He was amazing, caring and happy doctor. Even when another doctor delivered my baby he was there first thing in the morning.

This man is the worst OBGYN I have ever encountered, he is so unsensitive, completely unprofessional and lacks ALL qualities that a OBGYN should have. I was in labour and he checked my cervix and his fingers came out green. He looked at my husband and said "looks like shes still in Elmira" and walked out. The next OBGYN that came in rushed me to an emergency c-section (my heart rate dropped) and my son was born blue with so many contributing factors that could have been avoided if he delievered my son when he first saw me (3 weeks at McMaster due to complications). With the stories of this doctor keep coming out I would never trust him with my delivery. Just a gusting human.

He was my OB for four of my children and was amazing dr. His bedside manners was good, never felt rush during appointment. I guess I will never find great OB like him.

I had a miscarriage, and was nearing the point of blood transfusion due to extreme blood loss. He came into my room, saw that I was alone and said, "Maybe next time you'll use a condom," and asked why I had a "strange" look on my face after crying for hours

I had my first baby with Dr. Shannon and he was amazing!!! I’m having me second one now and so sad to see he’s now retired. I wish I knew I would’ve had my baby sooner! I’ll miss him and I’ll always remember his kindness and patience and wonderful bedside manners. Amazing Doctor!!! I feel blessed to have met him.

I had my first born April 2020. I know he is retired now, but he was an amazing doctor. always on time for appointments, incredible bedside manner. Never felt rushed in the slightest and always felt heard. Postpartum care was great as well. Since he retired I had to have a different OB for my second and my experience was subpar in comparison.

My first OB was in holidays and I went into emergency labour at 30 weeks. Dr Shannon was the OB on call and was so fast and precise. He saved her life. She will be 18 this summer! I also had him as an on call for my 3rd. He was overseeing a new OB and she came fast an furious...she almost hung herself with the cord but he calmly guided the new one to get the cord over her shoulders and never seemed panicked. She turned 9 today! Ive had 4 kids and he was by far the best OB I have dealt with.

When my original obgyn was away he took me on and delivered my first child. What a true blessing he was to me!!! He also followed me through my second pregnancy and came to visit me in the hospital afterwards to check in. He took his time with me and all of my questions and have many kids himself, gave me straightforward answers and guidance and tips! My kids are now 3 &5 and I still remember how much patience he had and he is funny! Best ever!!!!!

What can you say about dr shannon the best doctor i had throughout my life. Everytime i came out of his office i was at such an ease having baby in pandemic and working in healthcare could add to all the stress but he made sure i was stress free evrytime i leqve his office.i really wish i could have him for my second baby but he is retired. Now i have high expectation from whoever my 2nd OBGYN. He was kind enough to give me few recommendation for OBGYN for my next pregnancy . I will forever be greatful to Dr shannon for providing suxh an excellent service.and not forgetting i never even waited for 5 min he was so punctual and his wife at reception is as good as him very nice lady.
