I can't agree with the negative reviews. I was under Dr Clark's care this morning at the Burnaby ER. He was very professional and took my concern to heart and forwarded me for further investigation. Thank you Dr Clark.

Beware of this doctor (Dr. Jamieson Clark, a Doctor in Burnaby Hospital). He is arrogant, impatient, and incompetent. Complaints have been made to the hospital and the Board of Physicians should be notified. He made wrong medical decisions and did not listen to patients when explaining symptoms. He is very unethical and unprofessional.

After seeing the negative remarks I'm a bit shocked. I've had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Clark twice at Burnaby ER and each time he was absolutely a breath of fresh air. Very concerned and puts you at ease. Doesn't dismiss you or rush you. As a person who is a complex care patient suffering from multiple sclerosis amongst other serious issues, and who has been horrifically abused within the Healthcare industry in Ontario and somewhat in BC as well, he was a joy to deal with. I wish he were my primary care provider.

Dr. Clark truly cares about his patients. ERs are currently so busy, it’s challenging to keep everyone happy. To doubt a physician’s empathy when they’re really trying their best is just adding salt to an open wound and says more about the person saying it than it does about the person being criticized. No one is perfect, not even doctors. I was lucky to have Dr. Clark as my physician each time. Would highly recommend.

The negative reviews are true. Don’t be fooled by the reviews that say he is the sweetest doctor ever. He puts on such a nauseously “sweet” demeanour that would fool most people. However like one review said; it grates the nerves of anyone that knows better. I cannot stand listening to him talk and act so fake. His bedside manner is a huge problem that hinders him from being a good doctor.

The recounts of his arrogance and if you ask a “wrong” question still ring true. He will switch up on you as soon as you say something that he doesn’t think is right or wants to hear. He also doesn’t seem to understand what personal space is. Don’t be fooled. I rather a less friendly but honest doctor than a “sweet” two-faced one.

Dr. Clark is an incredibly empathetic doctor and a good clinician. He has no problem in consulting the appropriate specialists and is well aware of his limits. I would caution against believing the negative reviews. There are always two sides to a story and the truth is always somewhere in between…

I was very upset when I learned that he just left Montreal and did not even bother to tell us, his patients, his intentions. We were all left without a family doctor. Would definitely NOT recommend him. He is arrogant, cocky, and unreliable.

Excellent doctor and the one of the kindest human beings ever. You can appreciate how much he cares about his patients in his dedication to them. Went above and beyond for both myself and my family member each time.

I have seen Dr. Clark at the Burnaby ER twice. He is the only physician I have seen through the ER familiar with my condition and went way out of his way to make sure I had follow up care where my GP was hitting road blocks. The nurses on his service were also so incredibly helpful and kind. Really awesome doctor.
