I visited Dr. Cohen after strugging for 2 years with the same injury and having seen another doc twice. Dr. Cohen listened to everything I had to say and did a thorough examination of me. He sent me for imaging which the other doc had failed to do. Now I have a real diagnosis and a place to start from to heal this injury. Thank you so much Dr. Cohen.

I went to see Dr. Cohen after a sports injury. He told me it was just a sore muscle that would get better in 10-14 days. Weeks later, I was still in pain and ended going to my GP who ordered an ultrasound. It turns out that I severely tore my calf muscle which took several months to heal. Needless to say, he does not seem to take the time to seek out the true cause for injuries.

I have seen Dr. Cohen several times over the past 6 years, for different injuries. Each time he provided great diagnosis and great care. He is VERY experienced. I have no issues in waiting a bit when he is running behind schedule because he has seen me on short notice once, and you need to appreciate that you sometimes need to wait for superior care!! Keep up the great work Dr. Cohen!!!!

Dr. Cohen is the most experienced and best diagnostic "sports" medicine specialist that I have ever met. He has treated me several times, with different injuries, and each time his diagnosis was bang-on! He explained things thoroughly, provided pamphlets or diagrams of my injury so that I understood how his exercises or recommendations for Physio would heal my injury quickly. He is usually on time, but why wouldn't you want to wait a few minutes to see a top-notch doctor who will improve your health? I highly recommend him.

I've seen him several times for multiple injuries. Overlooking the fact that he was constantly late and I sometimes needed miss class because he was up to an hour late, each time he tells me the same thing. "Rest for 2-3 weeks. If it still hurts, come back to see me." He once told me that in order to find out what was really wrong with my knee I would need an MRI, but refused to write a requisition for one. This doesn't make any sense to me. He diagnosed an ankle injury as just swelling and inflammation without bothering to have any imaging done. After six months I went to another doctor who sent me for an x-ray and MRI which revealed a high ankle sprain and fractured tibia. I have been told since then that it will never be fully healthy again because too much scar tissue built up over those six months of not knowing what was wrong wit it.

I went to this doctor due to pain in my knees. He was very hands off and didn't ask very many questions. He seemed unconcerned that I was feeling pain and was unable to diagnose the source or even suggest reasons for the pain. All he suggested was that I should dish out money for Physio which I declined esp. since I had to beg to get other diagnostic work done. People should be wary of doctors who run clinics that stand to make money by referring patients to ancillary activities like 'therapy' that they probably don't need.
