Yes, this doctor is not our friend, hairdresser etc like some patients state, HOWEVER, for this field all doctor's should have compassion, professionalism and not cut patients off as they are trying to explain questions she wanted answers to. My mother left this doctor because several times my mother was being spoken to like trash. The last visit my mother (in her late 60's)went to and this doctor was extremely rude to her. As my mother explained something by accident my mother called this doctor by her first name. Well. that was enough for her to obnoxiously interrupt her explanation and rudely tell her "DO NOT CALL ME LUCY BECAUSE I'M A DOCTOR". So, yes my mother mistakenly referred to her by her first name, however this mistake was not to the level that my mother felt so bad. Hence I say that my mother is such a great patient and individual and such a genuinely a very nice lady and always treat everyone with so much politeness she was appalled about this and expressed to us her children that she had heard about this doctor with other patients about her rudeness and how other patient just left this clinic due to type of behavior with this doctor etc. So, no matter how much any doctor has to be blunt etc with you, they need to practice respect and compassion.

I just went to see dr. Lucy Awad today september 12, 2019 because im in pain, instead of helping me i fell worst, shes very rude and mean doctor, she even said to me that its not her problem if i dont get an appointment woth the test that she want me to undergo with, instead of im feeling better its worst. She is not compasionate at all. Shes nit supposed to be a doctor.

We've been with Dr. Awad since 2009 and she's our family doctor. Dr. Lucy Awad is the great doctor ever, if she never helped and diagnosed me maybe I'm dead now. She's strict and brutality honest but it's for my own good. I like the way she is. She takes care of my family, very professional. I don't see any reason why other people dislike her. If you don't like her, for sure you have mental problem. You should see a psychiatrist. YOUR THE BEST DOCTOR!!!!!

i visited Dr Awad for the first time last week , i was so impressed about how kind she is , she listened to every word i said and she examined me very carefully . she is a very good doctor and i wish if she accepts me to be her regular patient .

This doctor should give up her profession she's not suited for doctor material ,rude very unprofessional lacks understanding , blames patients for results she should be obtaining ,lacks compassion and care of patients,Dr award is always frowning ,one gets the feeling she doesn't want to be there ,she will be reported to the Ontario surgical and physicians as she was in 2011 -12. A patient does not need to be treated like an animal, yet animals are treated better ,avoid her she is to abusive ,and lacks empathy ,when a patient is sick they don't need to be burdened with her annoyance and inability to act upon a patients request

She doesn't seem to understand patient's perspectives. She lacks listening skills which is important to assess a patient. She dehumanizes patients as she feels superior as a doctor
