The staff at Focused optometry were so warm and welcoming to my son. He has seen too many doctors in his short life and gets very anxious and excitable. But they were calm cool and collected with him. Polite and courteous too. Dr. Jaffray was patient and firm when it was time for him to focus on the examination. Highly recommend.

Dr. Lori is awesome! She is such a wealth of knowledge and is so easy to talk to - we always learn something new each time we visit!
Her staff are all friendly, her office is bright and clean and parking is convenient and FREE!
Our family is so grateful to have been referred to such an excellent optometrist and a lovely person!

I am so glad I found Dr. Lori Jaffray. Dr. Jaffray is extremely patient, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. I travel across the city to ensure my eyes are getting the best treatment possible. The staff in the office make the visit and shopping experience a breeze. If you are looking for an optometrist (as I went though 6 prior to finding Dr. Jaffray ), look no further.

Dr. Jaffray is an amazing optometrist and I’m lucky to have her in my community! She took the time to go through my prescription and noticed my old optometrist made some mistakes when prescribing my contacts and glasses which has caused me problems in regards to inconsistency in my vision. Dr. Jaffray’s staff were incredibly helpful when I picked out my new glasses and made sure the pair I purchased were the correct size for my face. They also were able to adjust my glasses so they perfectly fit my face. There is a great selection of products to purchase here including omega 3 and heatable eye masks for dry eye. Dr. Jaffray’s office is clean and family friendly. There are toys for kids to play with in the waiting area and parking is super convenient. I definitely recommend her as an optometrist!

Dr Jaffray is a wonderful Eye Doctor. She took the time to explain everything to me in a way that I could understand and noticed a few things about my eyes that no other eye doctor mentioned to me. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an Eye Doctor who is passionate and very educated.

I am so thankful I've been referred to Dr. Jaffray after having a corneal transplant surgery done on both eyes. My vision was only 20/450 in my right eye and Dr. Jaffray recommended a Scleral contact lens. Being a person that never wore contact lenses before, I obviously had lots of questions. Dr. Jaffray is not only an excellent optometrist but an amazing educator too. She gave me a thorough explanation of not only how the Scleral lens will improve my vision but also trained me how to place it in & out of my eye and how to take care of it. Being a patient that also suffers from dry eyes, the Scleral lens is the best option for this since it keeps the eye moist the whole time. My vision with the lens is 20/20!!! I highly recommend Dr. Jaffray - the Scleral contact lens changed my life. I can drive now!

So glad my husband and myself started seeing Dr. Jaffray! She is very thorough and knowledgeable when it comes to eye exams and eye health. The same week I had had a retina scan done at a prominent Calgary eye specialist, I came to Dr. Jaffray for the first time for an eye exam for prescription eyeglasses. She also did a scan, and found I had glaucoma, which the specialist had missed. When my husband had a routine eye exam done, Dr. Jaffray found he had the beginnings of macular degeneration. She prescribed some eye vitamins for him to take, and a year later, when he had his eye exam done, his degeneration was no longer detectable. Dr. Jaffray is way beyond an ordinary optometrist! Her staff is always friendly and most helpful.

Dr. Jaffray’s attention to detail and professionalism keeps me coming back. She is very knowledgeable. You can tell she is passionate and cares about the well-being of her clients and staff. She took the time to explain and educate me about my eyes. I never feel rushed and always leave with all my questions answered. I am so impressed by the service at this store! The moment I walked in I was greeted by all the staff and instantly felt comfortable. Before I even knew that the glasses I was looking at were locked, they were there to unlock them for me. I witnessed this attention to detail with other customers than came in to the store while I was there. We were there for my little guy's checkup and I happened to mention that he had a poor experience elsewhere. The patience that Dr. Lori demonstrated with him during the appointment was like nothing I've seen before. She made the exam fun and carefree leaving my son feeling happy and excited to try on glasses, even though he didn't require them lol. We will definitely make this our new clinic and will be spreading the word to all of our family and friends! Thanks everyone!
