I have been a patient of Dr. Sanjay Dixit for >7 years. He runs a professional practice and I trust his judgement w/o reservation. At no time, never, have I felt that Dr. Dixit wasn't giving me his undivided attention for the 15-30 min that I was with him in his office or by phone, even during Covid. I can also say the same for his office staff: they have always treated me with respect and kindness. If I asked a question or request, it was handled within 24 hours, always. I feel lucky to be Dr. Dixit's patient.

Never saw Me in person for an assessment- time doctors get in their offices and work to get paid!!! Dentists work in people’s mouths and go INTO the office to do their jobs DURING COVID- (because they get paid by you!) How do you assess someone physically by not seeing them Dr. Dixit? Telling me to push on my joints and rate my pain- what a joke!
DR. Dixit- Big on perscribing without a diagnosis- and if you ask questions about the drugs he prescribes he gets his back up “I’m a doctor right”.,, - a doctor that thinks he’s GOD- attitude
Appointments are months apart -just take drugs get off my back and book u in 3-4months- thx and I’ll bill OHIP now and move onto my limited 5-10min next call- How great to get paid no matter how you treat patients and do your job being a doctor in this country! Get a second opinion - you’ll be amazed!

Very good Doctor. My family doctor diagnosed me with arthritis in my hands. I was having a lot of pain and weakness. I tried a number of ways to alleviate my pain and was taking meloxicam as a n anti-inflamatory. I called receptionist and Dr. Dixit responded the next day. We had a phone conversation and we resolved a lot of my pain issue.

Very good Doctor. My family doctor diagnosed me with rheumatoid arthritis and tried a number of ways to alleviate my issues, none of which worked. Once I was able to get in to Dr. Dixit, I went from 30% mobility and constant pain to 95% mobility with only occasional flare ups in no time after my first visit and prescription.

Wonderful doctor. Always takes time to listen to me. Very polite, knowledgeable. Made me very comfortable while discussing my disease and all different kinds of medications when I was first diagnosed with bad rheumatoid arthritis. I have come a long way. Thank you Dr Dixit for all your help.

I have been a patient of Dr Dixit for over 5 years and initially was very pleased with the progress I was making on the medication prescribed. Unfortunately for over a year I haven't received the same type of care. I started to decline and it took 8 months for my medication to be changed. It was only changed due to Dr Dixit's assistant reviewing my health and making the suggestion. Dr Dixit did not want to change anything. There was no follow up appointment made to see how I was doing. I have since had a flare up and experience discomfort with trouble walking. I called the office to ask to be seen and was told that Dr Dixit would have to ok the appointment and they would call me back. I didn't hear from the office staff, so I called 2 days later. I was told that I couldn't see Dr Dixit until my regular scheduled appointment which was over a month away. I explained again what I was experiencing and was told if I was that concerned I should go to the hospital. It seems apparent that if you run into difficulties Dr Dixit and his staff do not want to put in the time to determine what support is needed to help get your health back on track. I was in pain, couldn't walk and was scared, as this was my first flare up experience, and they didn't care. In addition, I have side effect symptoms from one of my medications and they were not concerned about that at all. I will be asking my family doctor for a referral to a different Rheumatologist.

This guy is the WORST doctor I have ever seen in my life. As a young adult struggling with some sort of rheumatic disorder, this man left me confused and terrified. He would not listen to anything I had to say, would not give me any requisition forms for the 4 different tests he was sending me for, and without any discussion of side effects or having tests done, he tried to put me on a beta blocker and anti malarial. Ooh, did I mention I had to go to my pharmacist to get the names of the medication?

I asked him what condition he was testing me for and he said "I'm not telling you since you'll just go home and ask doctor Google"

I was all on my own and I left that office bawling my eyes out. I waited 4 months for this appointment. The fact that this guy is a doctor, in charge of other people's well being makes me sick.

This doctor is very "business-like", doesn't seem very flexible in listening to patients' concerns. I had some anxiety about taking the 3 new medications he prescribed (seemed like a lot), but got impression he'd see me as "Non-compliant". Felt like a "number" rather than a "person". He didn't really encourage any interaction with me- just a "do as I say" type of mentality. He came across as very confident, but I would have rather had someone else.
