Dr Nick Christelis has been treating my pain since 2019. When several other treatments with other doctors were not effective, Dr Christelis has been the only one to give me total relief from chronic ankle pain which set in after multiple fractures had otherwise healed. His professionalism, attention, care, explanation of options together with straight talk about prospects of success has been exemplary. I owe him a lot. I am a day patient every 6 months and his intervention keeps me pain free. When the treatment begins to wear off, he repeats the procedure and I am pain free again.
So grateful to have met him. Cannot fault him.

Totally disrespectful, judgemental and unprofessional. AHPRA ought to be notified.

The most horrendous doctor I’ve ever had the misfortune of encountering. Rude, condescending and arrogant.

I couldn’t praise Dr Christelis highly enough. He his very professional and is knowledge of pain management techniques is outstanding. His clinic at Vic Pain is one of the best practices I have ever attended. He has changed my life enormously for the better. Don’t believe the negative reports they obviously have an agenda.

Him and his whole team treat patients like lepers. His receptionists Emma and Alicia clearly dislike their jobs and Caroline, the nurse is the rudest nurse I've encountered in my life.

Dr Christelis is my pain management specialist. I feel blessed to have found him. He provides the patient with many options to choose from and work collaboratively with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes. His bed side manner is highly professional yet extremely supportive and caring . He is always punctual and when you see him, he dedicates a lot of time to each appointment, ensuring all your questions are answered. One never feels as if he is pushing you out the door for his next patient. He spends a lot of time with his patients discussing the best possible Heath care outcomes for his patients. I would highly recommend Dr Christelis as a pain management specialist. He has international credentials and has an extensive knowledge on the latest research .When I leave my appointments I always feel like this health care professional genuinely cares about my needs as a patient. He takes different paths ways to pain management instead of just giving you opioids which I find helpful due to his anesthic background. Thanks Nick, Lisa Christie, spinal patient ( had 4 surgeries in L5S1. Due to disc ruptures and 1 spinal cord stimulator put in.

I saw Dr Nick yesterday for my first appointment/assessment.
I found him to be extremely knowledgable, understanding & efficient.
He actually cares about his patients and has their best interest at heart, this includes trying to reduce your pain using other techniques, not just loading you up on pain medication.
I'm booked in for a nerve block already, only a 3 week wait.
If this is successful I will have another procedure which will actually "burn" the nerve in one of my lower back joints, with the aim of reducing my pain substantially.
Finally I feel like there is hope.
Hope for a pain free (or significantly reduced level of pain) for myself and as a result for my family too.
Dr Nick is straight to the point, but not arrogant as some others have reviewed him as.
He knows what he is doing and he tells you things straight up, no mucking around.
But I did not find him rude or arrogant, he just tells you how it is.
I actually like Dr's like this. No need for chit chat or time wasting.
In saying that, he spent time with me getting a very good understanding of my pain, my "world" in general and what expectations I had.
If you truly want to get out of the "pain cycle" and you are happy to make an effort to change things for the better, Dr Nick is for you.
If you want to stay in the vicious cycle of pain medications and opioid addiction, you probably won't like Dr Nick!
As I said he has his patients best interests in mind, and being loaded up on narcotic analgesia is not in anyone's "best interests".
THANKYOU Dr Nick.
Also, I found the receptionists to be very nice, efficient and easy to chat with. They handled my procedure booking very well.
Thanks ladies

Friendly, warm, caring, goes out of his way to see me after surgery. Physiotherapist at his practice (Rachel ) is the best.

After 18 years on and off lower back pain Dr C and Physio Rachel were the first ones to correctly diagnose and treat my lower back pain as sacrum pain.

The reception staff are efficient but not very friendly or welcoming. If they weren't such hard faced unwelcoming would have been 5 for staff.

I have met many Dr's after several complex injuries and I've not found him to ever be arrogant or rude. He is a busy professional and can't afford the time to sit and chit chat.

Dr Christelis has helped my Aunt immensely. She has often said she couldn't have coped any longer with her severe pain which was limiting her ability to walk had he not stepped in and found and then successfully treated the cause. He has also managed to get on top of a separate chronic pain issue she has 'put up with' for many years, which she had come to think previously she just had to deal with. Dr Christelis has helped her so much and I am really grateful for his compassionate, caring and considerate approach in managing her care. Thank you so much!!!
