Dr Tommy Chan was very helpful in supporting me to make the decision for a full knee replacement. He is truly professional and cares for each of his patients. Certainly one of the best doctors I have ever had access to. Highly recommended

I visited Dr. Chan for an appointment in the North York Medical Centre. There were 15 people in the waiting room, and they do not care what time your appointment is at. The clinic is very disorganized. The receptionist told Dr. Chan that I had already been waiting for a while, and he replied "I don't care." He has no manners and is extremely rude. Don't go to that clinic unless you want to spend half your day waiting in the hall.

I saw Dr Chan today, straight forward, knowledgeable, to the point and efficient. I need to have a MRI in order to to know exactly if I need surgery, since the ultrasound and x-rays where not very helpful. I'm confident I'm in good hands with Dr Chan. Staff is also very helpful and friendly.

Excellent surgeon. July 07/2008 Repair torn Shoulder ligaments and rotator cup. Vey little pain and no issue healing, no infections.
Dr Chan is efficient direct and communicates what he found, done and what to expect going forward,

I had a total left knee replacement in November 2nd, 2020, performed by Dr. Tommy Chan at the Humber River Hospital.
The entire process and the post surgery so far has been excellent.
As far as I concern Dr. Tommy Chan is one of the best in this field, exceptional personality, friendly, brilliant Orthopedic Surgeon.
His staff and secretary Ann is kind helpful and always on point to follow up.
I would highly recommend Dr. Chan to anyone who is looking for a top-most, excellent Orthopedic Surgent.

I have seen Dr. Chan in both the Fracture Clinic at the hospital and in his office. He was very understanding and I was told that I SHOULD BE exercising my knee on my bike. I was told at the physiotherapy clinic NOT TO EXERCISE. Go figure! I will follow Dr. Chan's orders for sure! No wonder my knee wasn't getting any better. May need to see him in the future if my knee doesn't respond to this new line of thinking.
