Dr. Vescan is very knowledgeable and intelligent. I was expecting to have some pain when he would examine my sinuses but to my big surprise it was not. And always ask: "Let me please check?" Like i can say "No" :-) just kidding :-) Seriously, he has tons of experience and is very professional. Not sure whom somebody wrote below seen... Some ppl saying on white that it is black... sometimes. I am glad and thanks to God i had surgery with Dr. Vescan.

I had a great experience with this doctor, I was not able to get care in my home province, and him and his team were able to look after my sinus issues. It’s giving me a new lease on life and I feel back to my old self. Thank you for all of your awesome care.

Arrogant and dismissive. Just stuck a camera in my nose without explaining. Do yourself a favour and see a decent doctor instead. Will be filling a CPSO complaint!

I was referred to Dr. Vescan for surgery for Herthle cell carcinoma, a rare form of thyroid cancer. In the end I had to have 2 operations, which he warned me could happen. His admin Sultana was wonderfully helpful, and I got in to see him quickly, and had 3 consultations and 2 surgeries, all within just over 3 months. He has a great bedside manner, took his time, did extra tests right in the exam room, and answered all my questions. He did only stand at the door to ask a question when I had my first stitches out, and I did not see him when my second set of stitches came out. But I consider that normal procedure - his expertise was not needed. His office was very well organized. My experience was first rate and the care I received from all staff was first-rate. A special shout-out to the recovery room staff who were very attentive.
I suspect that like all specialists his time is very precious, and he gave me all that I needed or wanted. Perhaps those with negative comments were not as well prepared for the appointments as I was (I did a lot of research before seeing him) or had different expectations. I would recommend him and Mount Sinai Hospital to anyone.

Dr Vescan and his team were amazing. There may be a wait but well worth it. They are professional, experienced and fastidious. The follow through with before and aftercare is bar none. Highly recommend.

I’m not sure whether to like or dislike this doctor. When I had a video call with him several years ago he said my severely painful sinus issues would be just a mere “ inconvenience” for others yet so distressing I couldn’t cope for me…fast forward several years later my untreated minor inconvenience sinus issues have turned into full blown. Complications affecting my vision from lack of proper treatment, I’m sure that’s just a minor inconvenience too. Because I still don’t have an appt, maybe I’ll get one once I’m fully blind,

Dr. Vescan performed 2 surgeries on my sinuses. The first one didn't solve my nose issues but the second one improved my sinuses by 75-80%. I suppose I can live with that as too many surgeries can be unhealthy. Dorian, his assistant, was very helpful and easy to contact. This all happened way before Covid but thought I'd throw it in anyway.

I had balloon sinuplasty surgery with Dr.Vescan couple of years ago which I have to pay for. Before surgery Dr. Vescan informed me that the result of surgery would be the same as traditional surgery covered by OHIP, but I decided to proceed with balloon sinuplasty as it is less invasive and take less time for recovery. Never feel any pushing from his side to incline me to payed surgery. Also, all of payments were processed by Don Mills Surgical Center and I got official receipt with description what I paid for; never ever pay anything privately or directly to doctor. Also very happy with result. Thank you for doctors like Dr. Vescan who bring new technologies and minimally invasive surgery to Canada.
