Doesn't really listen to me. Interrupts me frequently when I try to explain my problem and the appointment feels very rushed since they're only 20-minute slots.
The receptionist sounds like she's on the verge of a mental breakdown and has yelled at me on one occasion because I was confused and couldn't understand what she was saying. Not gonna lie, he sounds creepy when suggesting I try anti-depressants, almost like he's trying his best to prescribe them probably so he can get his commission. At times he speaks in a fake, condescending manner which just feels eerie and sociopathic. He is flexible when it comes to trying new medication, however, so there's that I guess. I'm in the process of finding a new doctor and I suggest others do the same. Definitely would NOT recommend this doctor. Whack af.

Tries to find solutions to my issues but its usually about trying new meds. Appointments feel very rushed and I struggle to communicate as my anxiety increases trying to help him stay on time as I feel I have to hurry. He seems to have a good heart and does try.

He is not a Doctor . He is a pathological character, with serious ego issues and complete lack of morality, ethics and values holding a license to practice medicine. A perfect recipe for mass disasters with multiple and unprecendented consequences going beyond the health care system.

If you have to, walk in any police station and file a report against this Monster. Print the testimonials on this page as evidence, state how he treats you with moral harrasment, emotional bullying and that your life is at risk because of his careless demeanor , and lack of moral conduct. Get a copy of the number pf your report and do follow up with them. They will have to follow protocol and investigate him. Moreover, send a copy about your formal report to Toronto Police Board to ensure oversight and impartiality. They are on 40 College street / 416 808 8080 and you can send a written message throught their website www.tpsb.ca.
In addition send a message to OMA( Ontario Medical Association ) about your experience with Zalan , requesting a copy of his " Professional" Liability Insurance policy. ( info@oma.org) You can also go to their office on 150 Bloor street West ( Avenue road and bloor) suite 900 and request to speak with an Insurance advisor or whoever is available.
Furthermore , go in person to Ontario Ministry of Health on 777 Bay street , 5th Floor and file a formal complaint and representation against this Tyrant. You can also write a physical letter and send to this address about your experience with him.
Also , visit Ontario Human rights building on 180 Dundas street west 8th Floor to file a formal complaint against him and get free legal support at the same address.
All this formal steps from these different bodies will ensure they will investigate this case.
I had a perfect physical health, the moment I saw this psychopath my physical health deteriorated to a point that I am now terminally ill and I am only 42 y. I lived with a family member who has serious insomnia problems and I was trying to preserve her from this sociopath. My family member had to go on medication too because of the actions of this criminal! Direct effects of the compulsory injections he forced me to take and keep forcing it into me even though I complaint to him that I was not feeling well. He said he would take me to court if I did not take these injections. This went on for over 2 years and he never attempted to make any changes in my treatment. My family doctor confirmed to me that my health deterioration is ditectly liked to the injection medication prescribed by Zalan. I have liver failure, diabetes and irreversible kidney problems. A " Mental health" treatment that literally turned someone with perfect physical health into a terminally ill patient. Obviously there is someone really wrong with this " Doctor" . Just read all this different and unrelated testimonials on this page. I had done my part and followed these steps described above. This is the only way he will investigated, face a probe leading to his medical license revocation and personal indictmemt that can lead to imprisonment and / or monetary compensation to his victims

Awful doctor!! He doesnt respect your privacy and tells everything you tell him back to your family. He also doesnt respect your rights as a human. I told him and all the nurses I dont want visitors and they still let them in and they even came to my door. All the nurses and doctors ignored my request that I don't want visitors. This is against the law.

Anyone having or had a horrible experience with this Monster, should report him to as many government, media , private and NGOs as possible. Clearly this artificial and fake positive reports about him are manufacturing by someone close to him. Keep a journal of the experience you are having with him and ask if necessary if your appointments with him can be audio recorded for your own safety. You can download a free app from your smartphone. Get a lawyer or a paralegal to send him a " notice of liability". You can ask a government body for free legal advice. Don't be intimidated by him because he holds the title of a " Doctor" and you are a psychiatry patient. Send a letter or write an e-mail to U f T department of psychiatry where he graduated as well. The more people reporting this MONSTER , higher the chances to hold him accountable and to have his license suspended. Write in social media as well to expose him to more people and entities as possible. Write to as many investigative journalists as possible to unmask him. Be wise and use formal and legal ways to report him.

A complete psychopath!! He is sick, a bad apple, and he uses intimidation and blackmail - falsifying reports. Be very careful with him! HE will hurt you!!! STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!!! SAVE YOUR LIFE!!! He wreck lives, not help them. His license to practice should be revoked asap!!!! I ask GOD that his life falls apart and he ends up as a patient in psych wards. It will save hundreds , perhaps thousands of lives.

Dr Zalan has saved my mental health more than once. He is a master at finding the correct supports to help one through very challenging times. I thank God for him. He’s also been extremely supportive of a family member.

He is so " strict" when prescribing medications that he turns patients who are physically healthy with perfect blood work into patients with diabetes, thyroid problems , hepatic and kidney dysfunctions... including prescription of medications ( e.g. Abilify) which are condemned by Court since 2016... Millions paid in class suits for irreparable damages caused by this medication... If anyone refers to him as " Doctor" , he or she has no idea with whom they are dealing with... His license to practice should be revoked asap . It will save hundreds , perhaps thousands of lives...
