I like Dr Nixon very good at what he does. Awesome knows what he's doing is very frank tells you like it is friendly, an his staff are great to deal with. I would recommend Dr Nixon to anyone.

He is fantastic. Great sense of humor. Im so very thankful to him for fixing my eye.He was prompt at getting my eye lasered within a hr or less of being there as i had a torn retina..I would definitely go SEE him again

I've met Dr. Nixon twice at a walk-in clinic. He was thorough, professional, and solved my problem both times. He strikes me as someone who doesn't beat around the bush -- tells you how it is. Perhaps some would find his frank manner off-putting, but I appreciate his direct honesty. Since it was a walk-in clinic I cannot comment on his staff or on his punctuality but I indicated "good" for both of them because the website won't let me leave those fields blank.

Exceptional! He asks the correct questions and he gives you straightforward answers. Yes, his office is busy, but so are the rest of the good Dr’s in a growing city like Barrie. You are informed of your progress from the beginning to the end recovery with cataract surgery. This is not the case in all offices in Barrie, right Dr. L!

Dr Nixon is a wonderful friendly Doctor. He is a professional and offers all the knowledge to help assist you with understanding what is going on with your vision. All doctors are BUSY..All doctors have patients waiting. If your Not waiting you are NOT seeing a good Dr !! If you have been referred to see Dr Nixon ..you are seeing one of the best!! Be patient folks !

The adjectives to describe Dr. Nixon have been mentioned in other reviews, but deserve repeating here. Pompous, sarcastic, rude, disrespectful, arrogant. Let me add one not yet directed to the 'busy' doctor....condescending. I have had the misfortune to have had two botched cataract surgeries, emergency room contact as well as years of in-office appointments with this opthamologist. Every other doctor and specialist is busy, but no other consistently packs people in like cattle with standing room only in the waiting room. If you are going to do that, get a larger office where there are enough seats for everyone and they do not have to sit in the centre of the building or the optometrist office or stand. A disgrace for the term 'physician' who by definition should be caring and empathetic. Dr. Nixon is not nice.

Dr Nixon has been wonderful for my mom as she was diagnosed with wet macular degeneration. I found out that this is also going to be a concern for me too. It's a busy office but he was never rushing through patients.

This Dr. is very much in demand and the office is always crowded with patients. Count on being there for at least an hour after your appt. before you are seen.

Busy man. But I never feel rushed he ensures your questions are answered and understood before leaving. I didn't like his staff though they were rude
