Dr Duplessis performed emergency potential life saving surgery on me for which I'm deeply indebted. His team quickly and efficiently diagnosed the blood born bacterium which attacked my spine at the point of a previous non related surgery.

Dr. Stephan Du Plessis is a great neurosurgery! Before I met with Dr. Du Plessis, I had been suffering so much pain for 8 months because of a herniated disc compressing my spinal cord. He identified my situation is urgent and arrange an ACDF surgery within two months. 2-3 weeks after the surgery, my right hand is completely recovered, although it will take time for my spinal cord to heal. He saved me from being disabled, and released me from all the worries and anxiety. Thank you so much, Dr. Du Plessis! My after surgery MRI shows that he did a very good job on my surgery. He is knowledgeable and professional with confidence.

Dr. DuPlessis performed at discectomy and spinal fusion on my upper spine. Great results and good follow up the day after surgery. 18!months later nerve pain is still gone and muscle function has returned. 5 stars!

As the result of my condition (spinal stenosis - arthritis spurs pushing into my nerves in my spinal column) I was referred to Dr Duplessis. I found him to be very honest and informative. As I was in unbearable pain I was admitted for surgery three months after our first consultation. My pain disappeared right after surgery and I have never felt better. I would highly recommend him for any surgery!!

I went to this doctor after sustaining a spinal fracture as a result of a motor vehicle accident. One of the first things this neurosurgeon said to me was that when the insurance company makes me a settlement offer, I should accept it right away as the insurance company would never make me a second offer. I found this statement odd as I knew that insurance companies always low-ball injured parties who don't have legal representation. After the initial visit and follow up, this doctor refused to see me even though other physicians told me to go back to him due to my worsening condition. Dr. Duplessi finally agreed to see me five years later when the insurance company's doctor called him up to ask him to see me. As soon as I came to his office, Dr. Duplessi was belligerent--making me feel as if I was being accused of malingering. Indeed, when I pulled up my medical chart, he wrote things in it which one would infer from reading it that I was malingering. After doing some research, I found out the Dr. Duplessi works for insurance companies as an independent medical examiner. Had I known this, I would never have gone to see him. I expect insurance companies and lawyers to engage in games, but for a doctor to do so--I find it appalling. What happened to the hyppocratic oath?
