Dr Andy is extremely caring , takes time to explain things and answered all my questions frankly and honestly. I love her frank, gentle no nonsense approach . SHE IS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGABLE and has done bunion surgery on both of my feet with FABULOUS results both times. She is the best of BEST OF THE BEST. I would highly recommend her you will be treated like royalty.

Dr. Velijkovic saved my ankle! I broke my fibula and had to get surgery twice with hardware. Her and her team did an amazing job. She was extremely caring, knowledgable and helpful. I am forever grateful I had her as my surgeon. I no longer have any pain and can do all of the same activities again.

Dr Veljkovic and her team were simply amazing. The Footbridge Clinic is a well oiled machine that goes the extra mile to help as many people as possible. With that said Dr Andy has an incredible ability to connect with each and everyone of her patients and make them feel important. I have never met anyone in any field of work that has the capacity and love for what they do more than Dr Andy.
Over a 5 month period during Covid I had 4 surgeries where she broke and straitened my tib/fib, created a new arch, straightened my heal to my newly straitened ankle and tightened up my ligaments…later I had a plate removed…yesterday I went skiing without pain for the first time in 20 years😊
Unfortunately I will need surgery on my other ankle in a year or two. I am not nervous with Dr Andy in my corner.

I had a bunionectomy, pinned second toe (the pin was pulled out after 2 weeks with pliers and no freezing - yes, it really hurt!) and gastrocnemius recession and debridement in July. I am still advised by my physio not to walk much ( whatever that means). I have gone to physio every week since July and am advised by my physio that I can not go for a walk with my walking group (approx 7500 steps) until I can support my weight (120 pounds) with a one leg calf raise on the affected foot. I suspect this will take a year or more. Dr. Velkowich never advised me on the length of rehab. I would have never had this surgery if I had known how long it would take to recover. She spends very little time with a patient and does not investigate if they have other biomechanical issues that might arrest recovery. In my case I have an arthritic right knee and did not have full extension of the affected leg. She also plays very loud pop music during surgery that I found very unsettling. . I have been a very compliant patient - doing the prescribed exercises and spending $$ on massage and physio. I was the model patient but have doubts that this surgery was to my benefit. I am writing this for patients who might be naive like me. Footbridge is like the Walmart of medicine - very disorganized and gives very little time or thought to patient care.

I am really impressed with De Veljkovic, she solved my knee problem and I walk free without pain, also several years ago she solved my ankle problems with very simple solution and my ankle is not hurting anymore as well.
