I was yanked around with this guy for MONTHS after I developed severe tendonitis from work. An previously unknown bone spur was making it worse. Since it was workplace, he had to fill out WSIB forms. He complained every time he had to do it and then told me the pain was all in my head. I'm SO glad WSIB themselves pulled me to a different doctor when they say I was not improving under his care. Echlin was full of ego and useless as a caregiver. His staff tho... they were wonderful. The folks as ISM were truly concerned by my lack of improvement under that doctor's care. They tried literally everything with me and did their best to provide all the required paperwork in a timely manner. I would not be shocked if it was them who told WSIB I needed another medical opinion after continuing to deteriorate after 8 months.

My family doctor referred me to this family practitioner for a head injury that happened 6 months before when I fell and hit my skull on the cement. He didn’t want to hear what really happened just wanted to relate it to a hockey. Because I play hockey, the injury must be a result of that. He did not want me to explain the details of how the injury occurred rather he wanted to ask questions about hockey. This was the most bizarre meeting I have ever encountered.

Best of the best. The guy literally lives to help athletes/people dealing with concussions and trying to help them heal in the best way possible (time and rest). He is world class!

Truthfully, without Dr Echlins sense of urgency on a 4 wk old triceps tear I would have been in much worse condition long term . From ultrasound, to MRI, to arranging surgery this guy was on top of my full care! Calling me on his days off, and even pulled in a professional favor to expedite my urgent case. Sometimes a little ego is a good thing!

Dr Echlin is fantastic. Our 9 yr old son had a concussion and he spoke to him about how he felt and explained everything to our son and to us. He was very personable and sincere. I would recommend seeing him if you have any concerns about a possible concussion. He is extremely knowledgable and very kind.

Ego Ego Ego. Did not care for who referred me to him so barely listened to what I had to say. Took a personal phone call during our session. I made the personal decision that he was no good for my treatment and cut him lose. Best decision I've ever made.

We have had two teens with concussions. Dr. Echlin puts your new life in perspective, everything he does is to protect the patient. He will help you with their teachers and get them back to "normal". We are so lucky to have his expertise and ferocity.
