Paid $400 to see this man who put my son on Ritalin (asked him to choose which drug he wanted to be on, son is aged 8!!!).
After first dose my son was saying he wanted to kill himself, tried to call surgery and was told I needed to email Dr Parry directly which I did.
I had no reply for over 2 WEEKS!!!!!
This was my son's first time on any medication and it took him over 2 weeks to reply!!!!
I had to take son to my G.P who instructed us to stop medication.
I would not recommend this man at all,more interested in you money and himself to care!!!!!!

Mike's fantastic but I hate calling his office because I have to deal with his receptionist. Receptionists for paediatricians should know how to interact with stressed out and heartbroken parents. It's called empathy, kindness, and understanding. It doesn't take any effort to watch how you talk to someone who is worried for their sick or possibly dying child. How would this woman even know if the mother she is being so rude to is watching her child die every day? The answer is she wouldn't have a clue! That's why it's so important to be NICE. This person should not be the first point of contact for parents with sick children trying to get help.

I had an appointment over five months ago for an assessment for my son and despite ringing several times since then for a report I have received no communication from him what so ever. Paid $400 for absolutely nothing!!!

Best paediatrician in Toowoomba. Has gone above and beyond for both my sons. Found a diagnosis for my son when so many other doctors would blow it off as "nothing" couldn't recommend more!

Very friendly doctor who does not dismiss you as a mere 'parent'. Communicates his thought process and lets you know why he is choosing his line of action and lets you help decide if there are options. I think he suits people who like to take an open approach to possibilities for treatment. My son really liked him which helps!

Wonderful Dr who is extremely caring and understanding. He was very reassuring when our baby was unwell and could not do enough to help us. Even when he was extremely busy with emergencies he would still send us a txt late at night with results. His receptionist is also lovely and very caring. Could not recommend them highly enough.
