Rude, short, didn't spend more than 10 minutes with a new patient after a 1 hour and 20 minute wait. Did not give me the full information regarding a procedure she wanted to schedule me for. Did not listen to concerns or questions. Threw a small temper tantrum when I said I wasn't comfortable scheduling the procedure and another tantrum wheni said I would be seeing another doctor. Overheard her be rude to another patient and extremely rude to a staff member.

She disrespects the hospital staff. Is rude and an incompetent surgeon. I have friends who will never recover their health after she botched their surgery.

A very good doctor, very knowledgeable and skilled. Has operated on my husband twice and he would not have anyone else take care of him. He is very secure in knowing Dr. McDowell-Jacobs will be taking care of him.

i like Dr. McDowell-Jacobs. She has great bedside manners and will only do what is necessary. And she is straight to the point and dont sugar coat nothing. Thats the way doctors should be! I would recommend her to anybody looking for a good surgeon.
