I went in with a patient of his, and he welcomed me in. He may be great at what he does, but I would not like to see him myself. I had a feeling of general distrust for him. He seemed to want me to be a patient and cited me a super lowball quote (couldn't take it seriously). He also was very quick to assume my counselor and/or psychiatrist was not good at their job. He asked if I was on a certain prescription in front of his patient. I was uncomfortable with the question and felt trapped. Also this was her time! I also asked him questions about his qualifications and his experience. He was very eager to toot his own horn. I told him a bit about my background (very similar fields, slightly different levels and experiences), and he told me he was surprised I knew so much about MY condition! Ha! He was quick to discount my education without knowing it in full. He also was quick to get into politics. He is specifically trained in hypnosis.Nothing wrong with hypnosis.Just would not see him
