Dr. Wood performed laparoscopic procedure to effect a right hemicolectomy to excise cancerous tissue in the bowel. She was knowledgeable, courteous and maintained a brisk but caring bedside manner.

I have benefited from her expertise before and now I am calling on her again. I needed surgery for a hernia resulting from a cancer surgery done previously, not by her, and not due to any fault of the other surgeon. She repaired the hernia problem, reinforcing my stomach wall so it wouldn't tear again, and I haven't had a problem since.

I would highly recommend Dr Wood, I had breast cancer and if I ever go through this again, I hope she will be the one to take care of me. I was fully informed of my options and she supported me through it all.

Breast cancer surgery partial mastectomy. Dr Leanne Wood, her nurse Gail and the receptionists were excellent. Communication, consultations, considerations of my concerns and questions were all professional. Dr Wood explained each step of the diagnosis and surgical procedure pre and post operative. Post operative folow up has been appreciated. Her goal was that the surgery would result in a breast shape as close as possible to the original symmetry without a dimple or divet. I'm amazed at her skill and the clean surgical incision line. Two other women physicians consulted for a separate issue have been thoroughly impressed by her skill! How fortunate are we to have Dr Wood in our community.

Dr Wood has one of the best bedside manners I have ever come across in over 25 years of working in healthcare. Knowledgeable, kind, able to listen and answer all my questions and concerns. I felt very safe and cared for pre, during and post op. Thank you team.

Had a lumpectomy recently. It was at her recommendation that I did not need an entire mastectomy. Personally, I cared, but I told her I WANTED TO LIVE, SO DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO FOR THE BEST OUTCOME.
It has been a couple of months, and the breast is still tender, I DID NOT SAY AGONIZING. I had a 3cm tumor, and they took out 5 lymph nodes simultaneously. I looked at photos ONLINE prior to my lumpectomy, just to get an idea what I would look like POST OP.
WELL, i would gladly let Dr. Woods post a photo of both my breasts POST op.
I am 58 yrs old, and she did a fabulous job , and AFTER SURGERY INFORMED ME SHE DID "A BIT' OF PLASTIC SURGERY ON MY BREAST. I look as if nothing was done to me. A
bsolutely NOTHING like the women online after their lumpectomies. I would say, that within a year, you will NOT be able to determine which breast was operated on.
Thank you Dr. Wood and staff
Sincerely, Laurie Raga

This woman has no idea how to treat breast cancer patients. I saw her 2 years ago for a breast lump which she said was benign, and did not need a biopsy. Saw her again a year later, after my GP sent me for a biopsy - it was malignant. She was in such a rush to book me for surgery, did not do the proper screening test, put me through massive painful surgery. I was complaining of chest pain, the doctor said it was normal post operative pain. her nurse asked me if I had had a bone scan done, and I said no - Dr Wood said it was not necessary. My GP sent me for one - turns out I have secondaries in my ribs. I should never have been subjected to her mutilation. She is an awful breast surgeon - sickly sweet, but does not have any experience, or adequate knowledge. She needs to go back to school.

My regular Dr. recommended her for a surgical procedure I required and I can understand why. She answered all questions, did the procedure along with an excellent team and I was up and running in record time. The best care ever. Thank you Dr. Wood and team! Udabest!
