He is very kind hearted. I remember him as a Fellow and he was so down to earth. He is very good with his patients and co workers. He is one of the best Cardiac Surgeons that we have in Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute. He is very professional and excellent skills.😍😍😍

He saved my life and repaired my valve. Four years later, I am able to live a full and active life. My heart is back to its original shape and the repair is holding up. The scar was minimal, as Dr. Al Aklabi took great care to ensure it was not visible. He is amazing!

Dr. Al Aklabi is amazing. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and patient. He saved my daughter's life 3 times. She is thriving now because of him. He preformed my sons open heart surgery for hlhs and he did an amazing job! I couldn't further reccomend this man, he saved my sons life and he was very informative and straight to the point. You can really tell he cares about his patients and has such a huge passion for his job!

Dr Mohammed performed open heart surgery on our 3.5 year old daughter. He instantly made us feel at ease. upon referring to the surgery as some slight 'Plumbing', absolutely put most of our fears to rest.
He was confident professional amazing!!
We are year-and-a-half out of surgery and we talk about Dr. Mohammad everyday. At this point, it's my daughter's goal at 4, to become a doctor and to fix a little kids Hearts like dr. Mohammed.

I felt comfortable and reassured going into open heart surgery to repair a PAPVC after meeting with Dr. Al Aklabi. He was professional and confident without being arrogant. I felt I received the best care possible from him and the entire staff at Mazankowski Heart Institute. Since he generally performs paediatric surgeries, I can say that from an adult perspective I felt very fortunate to have been under his care.
