She is very kind but she shouldn't be practicing medicine. Cancels appointments so she can go on spurt of the moment vacations. If you have mental health issues forget about her taking any thing you say seriously because in her eyes you lose all credibility and not matter what you say she wont listen to you. I had all the symptoms of low potassium but because I have mental health issues she wouldnt listen to me.
My therapist sent her note asking her to switch my antidepressants. I explained how my therapist wanted it to happen because cutting it off cold turkey could throw me into distress. She wouldnt listen and said " I spoke to the pharmacist and he said to take you right off it for a few weeks, then start me on something new." She then cancelled my appointment so she could go on another spurt of the moment vacation and NEVER followed up to see if I was okay or suicidal and even alive! My therapist was flabbergasted when I called her up sobbing because I was so distraught.
I also went to her several times with headaches and vision issues but because I have mental health issues she wouldnt listen to me. I had to wait till she was on one of her vacation so I could go and see the doctor covering for her to ask for an MRI... They found a 1.4 cm growth on my pituitary gland.
Super nice lady but she should not be practicing medicine.
Im sorry Dr Kulkarni. I know you will read this and know who I am but you need to put your ego aside and do some self reflecting.
