This is my first visit with Dr Hosein.What an awesome experience.I went to see her regarding my Breast Biospsy.She came in the room so positive and encouraging
.She took the time to explain everything to me making sure I understood everything.Very patient and kind.I felt relaxed and all my anxiety disappear.Very professional.

I was referred to Dr. Hosein by my family doctor after my regular mammogram picked up a tumour. I met with Dr. Hosein at Credit Valley Hospital many times over the course of my treatment (diagnosis, biopsy, biopsy results, surgery and post-surgery results). She consistently demonstrated her deep knowledge, lengthy experience as a surgeon and specifically with breast cancer surgery, compassion and professionalism. At every appointment, she took the time to answer all of my questions and never made me feel like I was wasting her time. On the day of my surgery she made me feel confident and relaxed by answering all of my last minute questions, providing details of the procedure and some encouraging statistics. She called my husband immediately after the surgery to provide a full debrief so he wasn’t worried.
Although a breast cancer diagnosis is shocking and scary, Dr. Hosein and the team at Credit Valley hospital made the whole process very positive and manageable. I would highly recommend Dr. Hosein!!

i got diagnosed with breast cancer last year and Dr Houisen is truly amazing i don't have one single complaint with her. Being diagnosed at 29 years old is super scary she took her time with me explained everything to me. the day of my surgery she made me feel at peace, at the end of the surgery she even made 2 different phone calls to my mom and husband telling them about how my surgery went she made sure she got everything out. i would defiantly recommend her to anyone. Thank you Dr Hosein for saving my life.

My mom (56) was recently diagnosed with breast Cancer in January. Dr Hosein delivered the news to my mom and I with compassion and information. She made she my mom knew that they caught it early and with treatment that she will live a very long life. I met Dr. Hosein they day my mom found and and they day of her surgery, she always asked if she was comfortable, had any questions or concerns or if she needed anything. Mom was was treated at Credit Valley hospital and i cannot express 1 bad thing about the hospital or staff. It is by far the CLEANEST hospital i have been to and the friendliest. My mom and i saw about 10-15 nurses/doctors the day of her mastectomy and EVERY single one was pleasant and compassionate. After my moms surgery Dr. Hosein called me to tell her that her surgery went well and everything that happened during the surgery and if i had any questions. I like that she never left out any details and always made sure all my questions got answered. If i could rate this doctor out of 10 it will for sure be 11/10. EXCELLENT Doctor and hospital.

I can't praise Dr. Hosein enough. She was caring, compassionate and patient. She never rushed through our appointments and made sure all my questions and concerns were dealt with during my diagnosis and after my mastectomy. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. Her office staff unfortunately should be given some training on how to deal with someone going through a very stressful scary illness. Any interaction I had with them made me feel like I was annoying them and interrupting their day.

I went through the journey of breast cancer last year. I had cancer in my right breast and lymph nodes. Going through breast cancer requires a village of support from family, friends and health practitioners. I worked with a variety of health practitioners so I could make the best decisions for me. I did not rely on any one person 100% to make those decisions for my health.

At the end of the day, I am responsible for my health and my decisions. That said, the doctors I choose to work with including Dr. Hosein were incredible. They took all of my concerns and wishes into account. I'm grateful for their dedication to their craft. ESPECIALLY, during COVID!!! Dr. Hosein is a ROCKSTAR!! I was in and out of surgery quickly which allowed my body to recover quickly. Her team is compassionate, thorough and efficient.

BEWARE!! My sister came to this doctor with a breast cancer concern. This doctor completely ignored her concerns. My sister ended up being diagnosed with breast cancer less than 8 months later. Had this doctor actually taken the time out to help, the cancer would have been caught earlier. Disgusting!! Shame on you!

Dr Hosein contacted me before my scheduled time and while I wasn’t available when she called, she was more than willing to accommodate my regular appointment. She was patient and thorough in her explanation and overall quite kind and preemptive in allaying my fears. I never felt rushed, and she was more than willing to answer my questions. It was a pleasure speaking with her.

Very poor attention to serious problems, careless and lazy on actions, cancel or postpone apt anytime even after you showing up on apt. I am so screwed by her, so frustrated and sad. Do women's lives deserve professional treatment once they are on highly suspicious cancer?
