I would not recommend Maureen to anyone. She was continuously late for appointments, consistently interrupted me (usually with anecdotes about herself!), and never seemed to remember any details about me between appointments (spent the first few minutes of every single appointment reviewing her notes- which I was paying for). I found her to be incredibly insensitive and pushy... I did not feel supported, comfortable, or safe in her care.

Do not go to this woman unless you are ready to end your relationship. We went with a family problem and she ruined the relationship. She was late, she didn't listen and interrupted to tell anecdotes about herself. She jumped to conclusions and made suggestions without ever hearing what the problem was. She is self-centred, rude, cold and uncaring.

MAUREEN GETS RESULTS. I've see other therapists over the years who have helped me through a multitude of depressive episodes, but it wasn't until I saw Maureen that I actually began experiencing real and lasting positive changes in my life. Thanks to her holistic approach, her genuinely caring spirit, her vast knowledge and focus on actionable change, I have not had a depressive episode in the last 5 years. And I've been off anti-depressants for the last 4 years. Given my long history of depression (1-2 major episodes/year for over 20 years, most of this time on medication) this is truly remarkable. I am so grateful to have found Maureen. I am a much happier, contented and confident woman than I ever thought I could be. As a result, my marriage, my children, and my career have benefitted from Maureen as well. I can't thank her enough.

Maureen is very knowledgeable and experienced. However, she multitasks during therapy and EMDR. Eating, checking emails, going to the washroom etc. Her approach to therapy is to talk and tell clients her views on everything. A bad listener. Her knowledge is masked because of her overwhelming conceit.

I highly recommend Dr. Kitchur. I have been a patient in her treatment off and on for 6 years and have had incredibly positive results. She has been extremely helpful guiding me as I have worked through issues that have plagued me since childhood. The treatment and process has made a huge positive difference in my life. It has been a lot of work but wll worth the money, time and effort. She is in my experience very knowledgable, thorough and professional and I don't hesitate to recommend her services.

I found that Maureen used tactics that were outside of her clinical role. Was not able to actually talk things through. Relied on her EMDR hand buzzers while looking at her email or eating. I will NEVER go back.

Maureen Kitchur is a master in her field. She helped us understand my daughters sugar intolerance so we could avoid putting her on medication. 1 session with EMDR changed my daughter so drastically plus the advice on how to handle her behaviour, has allowed us a peaceful family environment for over 10 yrs. I would highly recommend Maureen to anyone.

I have experienced sustainable, positive & empowering results, because Maureen provides cause-based solutions vs. reacting to or masking symptoms. EMDR therapy is an example of this. Incredibly & quickly I experienced powerful/sustainable results as did my children and others I have referred. Maureen is able to balance that fine line between emotional support yet holding me accountable to my part in things. She does this without crushing my spirit, attacking me or speaking down to me thus creating trust. It easier to open up & own some of those things in my life I wished were better or not there at all.She unlocked the major key to my marriage problems on the 3rd visit-I had married somebody with a borderline personality disorder. Although my ex-spouse still suffers untreated (quitting both treatment & the marriage), my children & I have benefited from knowing what's wrong & getting healing around that. If you want sustainable change & long term results, I'd go to Maureen.

Maureen, was the most amazing lady to deal with and helped me work through issues I have had since I was a child . I very much appreciated that she always ran on time and gave me an idea at the very beginning of how long she thought treatment would take and set me up with a plan. Her knowledge on all levels was wonderful she helped me with my physical health as well diagnosing a illness that I had for some time and then devised a plan for me to start treatment. Her thoughtfulness and support was wonderful and I am a better person for having seen her and for having her in my life.
