This doctor is a waste of time. How can you possibly assess patients over the phone. Doesn't listen at all. Had to almost beg to get more testing done after having an issue for over 2 years with pain and swelling.

Dr Hooper is an excellent physician. I had a consultation with him about severe spinal stenosis and he gave me all the information I needed about caudal epidural steroid injection and surgery. I recently saw him for the caudal epidural injection. He was very patient, gentle and caring and the procedure did not cause too much pain. Today I had a two week phone follow up with him. He is always on time and his staff (Cecelia, the nurse, and Ed, the scheduler) are always caring.

Off on disability and needing physical therapy. This doctor didn't even do the tests and diagnosed nerve damage. Insurance company has cut me off from therapy due to this. Now I'll be disabled forever. Yea that seems backwards but due my insurance package this is paradoxically exactly what they want. This doctor is a shill for the insurance companies.

He has good communication skills. Was efficient and thoughtful. He listened to the information I gave him. He clearly went through the results. He referred me on for and orthotics, refereed me to a blood specialist (out of an abundance of caution) and sent off blood work to the states. He is the first physician who actually gave me help

Fraudulently portrays himself as a NERVE/MUSCLE specialist. IS NOT a neurologist (He is a "physiatrist", whatever that is). Poked me with his needles, wasn't sure what he saw; realized it was ACTUALLY a REAL Neurological disorder and had me go wait in HSC ER for hours to get Neuro consult to get ANOTHER 7 week waiting period to have the SAME TESTING done by an actually competent neurologist; Dr. Werner Ilse!

If you have minor aches and pains, he'll just make money off you with MB Health. But should you have a REAL neurological issue; he'll fraudulently needle you everywhere with EMG (Electromyography) painful needles and not have a clue how to properly interpret.... STAY AWAY!!!

I went to Doctor Hooper this past summer and it was overall good. Given I was quite nervous, he had a great bedside manner and took the time to listen to my symptoms attentively. He conducted the nerve test with ease and explained what was happening along the way. I know he's got a busy practice, but between him and his staff - you never felt like a nuisance.

I saw Dr. Hooper on Feb5, 2022. He made a joke, which is good, but being in so much pain I couldn't laugh at it. That will not affect my review on him. I much prefer some laughter. Maybe next time I can toss a few jokes his way. He preformed a nerve conduction test on me. Everything went great. Reception and other staff were great! I would definitely go back.

Will never go to Dr. Hooper again, was no help whatsoever, made me feel like I was lying about my symptoms and wasting his time. Took over a week for my doctor to get his report and then no answers or recommendations whatsoever. His assistant however was excellent. Find someone else !!

Just another incompitant, arrogant, piece of work. If you're on wcb.... Get a second opinion. According to this guy, you're ok and nothing shows up. We'll now after his professional opinion, I will be going for surgery. But wait... According to this clown I am fine and it's just a strain. Waste of taxpayers money!!
