Absolutely terrible bed bedside manners. After making an appointment with my family doctor(unfortunately not for a good couple weeks away as they are booked up pretty solid) they recommend I use their after hours service doctor. This is a seperate office from my family doctor.

Recently got over one of the worst sinus infections I've had in years. It's since cleared up but I've had side affects from the antibiotics. Litterly cannot touch my nose with out pain and more. What ever. My doctors office litterly sent me to Dr. Pinto's to see if they could get me in sooner rather than later. So I did just that. Followed my doctors offices suggestion.

Called and the receptionist was a wonderful and super helpful women. Very kind and understanding. I made sure to explain that i have nothing against her as she had been amazing at getting me in and doing her job.

Got in and seen fast which was very nice. But then came me talking to Dr. Pinto. The absolutely horrid bed side manner! Constantly cutting me off mid sentence when im trying to piece together my thoughts into word. Had to tell her to stop and let me explain because she isn't listening to me or I'm not getting the help i need to understand what is going on with my own body. I started trying to ask questions that any patient should be allowed to ask without being made to feel like garbage. For example, in my case, I wanted to confirm that it was just inflammation and not an infection causing all the heat, pain and other major signs of infections. Her response was a snappy and snarky "well, have you had a fever then?"

Excuse me for asking a question about my own health! Then wanted to ask why a Sailen spray was any better than a salíen nasal rinse. Because well, it didn't make sense in my brain at the time and wanted to understand. Only to be mer with yet another snarky comment, "well you only do that 2 to 3 times a week!" Well no duh. That's what the packaging says. And I'm just trying to understand the difference between two different treatments that would be going through my nasal cavity inches from my brain.

God forbid anyone wants to understand their own body and helath any more.

Save yourself the trouble, if you can wait for your family doctor, wait. Or go to urgent care. Dont waste your time here. Haven't felt that disregarded bt a medical professional since I was a child. Pretty damn bad, came in, a great mood left almost reduced to tears because a lady couldn't take two moments from her busy life to not rush and let a patient explain themselves and ask questions.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pinto for the past 5 years, and unfortunately, I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience. Throughout this time, I have consistently faced misdiagnoses and a lack of attentive care from Dr. Pinto.

Despite expressing my concerns and symptoms during appointments, Dr. Pinto often dismissed them, attributing everything to normalcy or mental health issues without thoroughly exploring potential underlying medical conditions. This resulted in a delay in identifying serious health issues that required prompt attention.

One significant instance was when Dr. Pinto diagnosed me with anxiety, only for a second opinion from another doctor to reveal Myocarditis, leading to a hospitalization due to severe complications. Additionally, she diagnosed me with health anxiety regarding endometriosis, which was later confirmed through surgery performed by a gynecologist to be stage three endometriosis.

The dismissive attitude extended to joint pain concerns, where Dr. Pinto attributed it solely to depression without a comprehensive evaluation. Subsequent consultation with a rheumatologist uncovered arthritis, highlighting a critical oversight in her diagnosis.

Furthermore, the limited time spent during appointments and her tendency to cut me off before I could fully articulate my concerns made the entire experience frustrating and unproductive.

I hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for improvement. I have decided to change doctors to ensure I receive the thorough and attentive care that every patient deserves.

Amazing doctor and the way she taking care about you is very professional. Few days ago after my blood work I visited her for the follow up. She went through all my medical records and immediately called her assistant and secretary to get me the dates for four different appointments. She spent almost 35 minutes with my medical records.
Next day I was so surprised . Four different clinics and hospitals called me for the appointments with short periods. Also her secretary called me and checked whether I got the appointment dates. What a excellent professional service and excellent team.
I don't know how to thanks her and her team.

can never actually speak to someone when you call - need to leave messages, and they are never returned or actioned. no point in having a family doc where their office is unresponsive.

I have been going to her for years. Thinking she would get better, but she never does. Dismissive is an understatement. She doesn't listen, and she pushes you out the door. She makes you feel like you are making ailments up and your concerns are not important. She has 100% said to me. She went to school. I didn't and after my last appointment. I confronted her on that statement she made. Also the other visits that she dismissed me and told me nothing was wrong and shortly after ended up in hospital with exact symptoms she dismissed.I will never return to her. She is a horrible person.
Not just with me, but with my family. She has done the same thing to my kids and from what I just read these other reviews I realize I'm not the only one she's doing it too. Although that is the way I felt at first.
Do not go to her, she will just dismiss you too. Might be nice at first, but it will turn horrible shortly after.

Was supposed to get a referral in January never did when finally I called back the receptionist acknowledged that I should have had a referral and she would follow up with Dr Pinto and call me back they never did so I called back and then all of a sudden I had an appointment in October I was extremely upset due to the issues I was having and asked for her to call me the receptionist said no because I saw the Dr already when I insisted Dr Pinto finally called me and asked what the issue was when I told her she said her notes didn’t say a referral was needed but why did the receptionist know when I told her I was concerned about the level of care she was providing she said she had many patients to deal with and I said maybe that was the problem and that I feel like she doesn’t care and she basically said I do what I can when I got upset she told me that maybe I need to follow up with someone else and hung up on me, I then received a referral for the following week and just received a letter stating that she will no longer care for me and I need a new Dr…wow honestly Dr Pinto does not care about her patients she is all about money that’s why it takes you over 1.5 hours to be seen cause she over books do yourself a favour and find a new Dr

Called her office to get an appointment for a possible UTI. They never called me back to book an appointment. Called a couple more times with no answer. After 5pm, as I was getting worse, and not getting an appointment from her office, I went to a walk in clinic. Dr Pinto then called me several days later yelling at me for going to a walk in clinic and how this costs her money. She would not listen to the reason why I had to go there. Her office is easier for me to get to then the walk in clinic - I had to desire to travel further, but had no choice. Avoid this office and find another family doctor.

Dr. Pinto is so dismissive and spends zero time trying to help. She yelled at me for going to a walk in clinic because it was going to take 2 weeks to get an appointment. She told me it costs her money when I go there.
Then my mom kept begging Dr. PInto for nearly a year to help with pain and felt dismissed every time. She refused to send for more tests and instead gave anti-inflammatory drugs and Tylenol. She got a stage 4 cancer diagnosis in the emergency room. This could have been dealt with a year prior before it got bad if Pinto took concerns seriously and did her job.
Also had kidney stones for years and was sent away and was told to drink more water. At age 24. After getting another opinion from a neurologist in my 30s who sent me for blood work they found what was wrong. Really? She couldn't have sent me for blood work? No instead made me.suffer for a decade until my disgnosis. Joke of a doctor. Run away.

Dr. Pinto's professionalism was lacking during my visit. I felt dismissed and invalidated when I tried to explain my symptoms. The entire visit lasted 3 minutes! I timed it. Dr. Pinto did not take my concerns seriously and instead suggested that my symptoms were all in my head, refusing to refer me for necessary tests and instead suggesting yoga as a solution. I ultimately sought a second opinion and was properly diagnosed with Autism and autistic burnout. It was clear that Dr. Pinto needs to update her knowledge and approach to better serve her patients.
